I think the reasons they've given are a bit meh. Seems to me like someone important thought changing the crest would be a good idea, so they did! Don't buy the "it doesn't work digitally" excuse.

Personally, I thought our old crest was really distinctive, and really liked it. Was different from anything else, and personally I just prefer non-circular crests.

While the new crest is very similar to a lot of other clubs', I actually quite like it. Much better than most clubs recent efforts. More red, and the Bee is nice and big and central. Just wish it wasn't round, and the 'Brentford' text could be a bit bigger too. It could have been a lot worse, but I do wish they'd just kept it the same.
