So just as Malky Mackay (remember him) is about to take on a job with the Scottish FA, rumours are coming out that we have launched a claim of 'dishonest conspiracy' regarding the transfers of Caulker and Odemwingie. Seems like Vinnie T has really got a hard on for Malky and seeing his whole career ruined. Think the lesson here is don't piss off someone that looks like a Bond villain.

Cueball banned for 5 games for racially abusing Romain Saiss. Fined £100k and ordered to attend an education course too.

The Club and the player have asked for the full explanation but it seems that he will appeal it. The FA have said they'll have that to him in 7 days and then that's when the ban will start. Seems to be standing his ground on this but if it's upheld then he deserves everything he gets.

I once read an article about Shelvey that described him as looking like 'a startled ostrich in a hall of mirrors' and ever since I've been meaning to get a t-shirt with his face, and that phrase, on it.

3 differing accounts from 3 Wolves players and no hard evidence = 5 game ban and £100k fine. Of course he's a horrible little c*** if he's said something but it's a bit worrying the F.A can convict a player and fine him a large sum of money with zero hard evidence and unreliable witness testimony.

Apparently he called Romain Saiss "a smelly arab".

According to one witness, yeah. The other two have differing accounts with one saying he used the term Moroccan in a derogatory context. Not sure how someone can mishear Arab as Moroccan but... yeah. Waiting to see what comes of the appeal.

It goes without saying that there's no excuse IF he's said it but one of the witnesses has claimed that Shelvey was reacting to allopecia jibes.

I doubt it to be honest. Romain Saiss at the time couldn't even speak English, it took another one of our players to report the incident because Saiss didn't understand what Shelvey had said.

Sounds like Ramirez at Chelsea. He was a witness for Terry even though he does not (well, at the time anyway) speak English so it was all word of mouth between players. Very easy to say to someone who doesn't speak the lingo that someone said something they shouldn't, as they would always trust their team mate.

Dave Edwards has spent 300k of his money on building and running an indoor play centre in Shrewsbury for disadvantaged kids, and is now preparing to launch another charity. A great gesture from one of the reknown 'nicest guys' in football.

That a picture of Wolves practicing inventing another pile of shit to plead to the ref for the home game ? Its already being forecast they will among Newcastle fans. Worked before. No evidence. No reaction from players at the time (no time to talk together & make it up y'see)
Perhaps Newcastle should do the same back ? And then say - they did it. And you believed them with no proof whatsoever, just the words of pathological LIARS backing each other up

Don't know if you're trolling or genuinely trying to be serious.

It was one mans word against another. Words aren't physical objects you use in court to testify against someone, bloody moron. The court and the judge after hearing both parties reports seemed fit to decide that Shelvey was guilty of racist conduct. Our evidence was obviously much stronger than the case Newcastle United brought forward.

There was no reaction from our player because he didn't know english well enough to realise what he said. It took another player nearby who understood what Shelvey did say to report it to the officials. Please at least read the report of the events and the courts finding before posting some bitter crap that makes you look as if you're sympathising with the racist actions of your player.

Bitter old man, you give your fellow fanbase a bad name with stupid statements like that.

Our takeover is stalling, and Stam made it quite clear last night that he wants a resolution soon (even implying that it could be enough to force him to walk). It seems that we passed the Football League fit and proper persons test, but the Premierleague test is dragging.. No idea why they have two different criteria, and also why it cannot be approved despite passing the test for the league we're in.

Seems like the transfer of Tiago Ilori is not going to go through until something gets cleared.

Also posted our finances for 2015/16 with losses of £15m, so looks like we're desperate for this to get through. Wages fell to £30.8m (from £32.5m) but that's still 119% of turnover. We did do more to reduce this for the current season.

It also show that we have spent £2.7m on transfers this season and received £6m.

Passed FFP, and should be safe for a couple of years yet, but not the best reading.

Maybe my claim that we struggled to pay the players wages in November is a little more clear now... :animatedf:

We received £1.2m in compensation for our players playing in Euro 2016. Very useful amount of money for the club, didn't realise the figures would be that much!

£350,609 for David Cotterill who only played twice in the qualifiers. We should sign more Welsh players.

Speaking of Cotterill, you annoyed he's been let out on loan?

Mixed reviews from your fans from what I've read, some happy some not so happy.

I personally didn't want him back but given it's only a loan and a stop gap signing to replace Freeman until the summer I can't really moan.

Good player, contributes with goals and assists but seems to have lost his way a bit this season. His main strength comes from his delivery, Tammy Abraham and your other big players will thrive off him. Not the type to beat a man wth pace or help back in defence but he'll add that bit of quality from his crossing and set pieces.

This was probably his best goal for us. One way to shut the Leicester fans up.

You also get money for every day they are away at the tournament proper, whether they play any football or not

Hounslow Council have approved London Irish moving to the Brentford Community Stadium.

Great news for us, soon will not have those rugby players tearing up our pitch every year!
