Hounslow Council have approved London Irish moving to the Brentford Community Stadium.

Great news for us, soon will not have those rugby players tearing up our pitch every year!
Desso pitches work wonders

Extra cash for us, and we need every penny we can get. Happy with this.

Can't come soon enough for us.

Our pitch is terrible right now (and has been the last half of the previous 3 seasons) which is effecting our football. We're the most possession orientated team in the division, attempting to pass it around on a pitch that causes the ball to bobble randomly and must be more risky for injuries.

We are currently making about £500k a season from London Irish being at the ground, but it is potentially costing us the chance of being more successful on the pitch.. and £500k is nothing if you get promoted.

No idea. Not got planning permission yet. It's planned for right behind my house but Hemmings is trying to sneak through about 300 houses with it aswell so a lot of people are kicking off.
moving with the times is not a bad thing aslong as finances for the team are not cut. Next season play off push means spending a bit of money.

I imagine we'll get a slightly larger amount, maybe £700-800k, but even though that's all we'd get it's still massively important to a club our size. We've been consistently outperforming our turnover and spend, and have to raise every penny we can just to compete at this level.

Hopefully we'll get a few extra fans from them, and vice versa. If done properly it should work out well, definitely not looking forward to a shit pitch (especially as ours are normally pretty great) but it is potentially worth it.

Very nice, about time you lot caught up in terms of training facilities. Lots of Premier League standard training grounds in the North West now, Blackburn, Burnley, ourselves, Fleetwood and you if they get approved. The less said about Bolton and Blackpool the better...

Caught up? you only bought Bolton's training ground last season...

Indeed, one of the biggest mistakes of the Whelan era not sorting us a proper training ground when we were in the Premier League. We got very lucky with Bolton or we'd probably still be stuck at Christopher Park with no new training ground on the horizon for years.

It was deleted fairly quickly, but fair play to him. It was never a handball, or a red.

Well it was a red. You can't lay hands on the ref, whether his stumble was embarrassing or not.

Played against us at AG for Sheff W last season and was awful, subbed at half time I think. You do seem to have a knack of getting the best out of players that haven't performed at previous clubs or have lost their way for whatever reason

Martin O'Neill fucked us over, he publicly told AM that he was going to the Euros regardless of form so McGeady became disinterested, he was excellent against us at Deepdale.

Seemingly Grayson is a very good person to work for and we have a very relaxed dressing room at North End. Goes a long way.

A fit, happy and confident McGeady is as good as anyone at this level, unreal technical ability and the end product to match in recent weeks.

Grayson's a brilliant man manager and we have a really good team spirit apparently. Give a player like Mcgeady confidence and he shows he's too good for this league, we're lucky to have him for the next few months.

Strange one but our ex owner Steve Morgan, who was known around these parts for saving as much money in the Prem as possible instead of splashing out in a bid to keep us up... has just donated two hundred million (£200,000,000) pounds to charity, one of the largest donations ever made by anyone. Fair play to him, very impressive gesture.

Such a shame we didn't see the best of him last season, probably end up with a similar situation with Callum Mac. Both exactly the type of wingers we are crying out for but never get a sniff.

McGeady was a lazy petulant c*** at ours though, was assured of his Euros place so didn't want to risk injury. Callum McManaman will be starting Tuesday I bet.

I remember when Martinez was desperate to sign McGeady for us back in January 2013. He wouldn't take a pay cut to leave the Russian club he was at to come and join us. Got him eventually when he joined Everton obviously. He must still be on huge wages, great bit of business for PNE assuming they are only paying 50% or less of his pay packet. Certainly one of the best in the league when he's arsed.

Any chance somebody can make a video of him blazing a few shots over the bar and mishitting a few crosses, I'd like to sign him at the end of the season.

From what i've heard we're paying next to fuck all in terms of his wages, like 5% of what he's on at Everton.

There was only us and Odense in Denmark in for him.
