Here's a good visualisation of the age distribution for each team:

Our squad looking quite promising there for the next year or two, if we could possibly keep it together. A lot of players at the right age.

Just wanted to congratulate El Guano on Birmingham City's miraculous survival in the Championship. This division would be considerably poorer without the West Midlands fourth highest placed club.
Just saying.

Very gracious of you.

I noticed you have dropped 'League 1' from the thread title. Was good while it lasted, eh?

Dropped it last week some time. But by accident.
Great to see you so fascinated by us on your Big Day Out!

I'm always impressed by outfield players who manage to play every minute of the season, so well done to Luke Chambers and Aden Flint for achieving it this year (and Chris Gunter who only missed nine minutes). Chambers' record in particular is exceptional, he's only missed four league games in five seasons with Ipswich.

Flint's missed 200 minutes (two games and one subbed off injured at Shrewsbury) in all competitions in three years. Absolute hero.

I think Chris Gunter's was tactical too, as he is never injured.

He is almost at 500 professional appearances and he's only 27!

Astonishingly, we are offering up to 50% off our 2016-17 kit here. I know some of you are seriously considering ditching your own team and supporting the old gold and black instead, so this could be an opportune moment to pick up some classy kit.
Given all we've achieved this season, it does amaze me that we are dropping the price on the shirts worn by our legends.

Not tempted to get our luminous green away shirt with The Money Shop emblazoned over the front? For a mere extra £10 I think you could even treat yourself to getting Paul Gladon's name and number on the back.

I actually really did think about getting Gladon on it. Or Nazon. Or Oniangue. You know, it's almost worth the total waste of money for the laughs.

Will you be buying the shorts and socks as well, HerpesWolf?

He got run ragged by Che Adams. As did the Wolves backline when we beat 'em. Flint was just another victim.

Cute. You have to run with the HerpesWolf tag because no-one realises you're referring to me in your thread title. Priceless. Would it help if I advertise it as well for you?

I asked if you would be buying the full kit. You seem the type.

Allegedly, looks like Paul Lambert may be getting his P45 soon. Seems he doesn't want Jorge Mendes doing all the recruitment. Despite the success of Helder Costa, not one other signing from the Mendes campaign last year has made any impact. Interestingly, it seems that our Recruitment Director (not sure of his exact title) Kevin Thelwell has been busy chasing some interesting targets (most of whom seemed to be a good fit for us) and it's all off now. His position must also be under question too.
It seems unusual for a club to back an agent not their manager......

Seems we are linked with one Jose Cuckold. He's managed more clubs than I've had hot dinners. Except macaroni cheese because I have that quite a lot. Let's have another look at that three-legged dog....

Confirmed play-off finalists and confirmed takeover of the club by the Chinese siblings mentioned previously. Last night was not a bad one for us!

Play offs great.

Chinese ownership not so. Have you seen the chaos that ensues most clubs who have gone into far eastern ownership.

Apart from Leicester:bl:

We were already under far eastern ownership and it hasn't done us any harm this season..

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Hot on the heels of Reading's takeover, news seems to be rumbling out of Nottm Forest about new owners there too. A Greek chap by the name of Evangelos Marinakis who owners Olympiakos.

Current owner Al Hasawi says the deal is "99% complete". However there is the matter of the fit and proper persons test, which apparently has taken place despite some (denied) accusations of match-fixing in Greece.

I'll miss Fawaz tremendously but already buoyed by a new owner having to play down criminal allegations on his first day

Gutted to see that it was Fernando Fucketieri who buggered up with the penalties last night. Couldn't have happened to a bigger kent.
And the same week he lost out to Emma Watson on the gender-neutral acting award too.

Said on our clubs forum, how the hell do you get given approval for a takeover while facing accusations of match fixing?!
