I don't know, nor am I arsed what the players schedules are during the week; I've just read that it was their day off yesterday and the majority of the squad went down to Cheltenham for the day.

You should be.

Well I'm not, because it's none of my business and we're getting results. If we were losing every week I may be slightly concerned - but who am I to question Johnson's schedule given that since he's come in we've been in the top six in the form guide...

Our lot didn't even have the day off, just had training early and went on to Cheltenham afterwards
This, the players will have already trained that day, so its up to them if they decide to go to the races afterwards, if whatever they do doesn't effect their ability to train next day then there's not really an issue, as for Luke its seems to be a case of having an idiot for a friend and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So £21 a month on top of £11/£13 per game?

So £441 for the season in the championship and £457 for Premier League football

Seems like it will mean a lot more admin work etc, why not just reduce the price of season tickets if its about giving the benefit back to fans?

I think it's just the monthly fee, rather than having to pay more on top of the subscription for a game. Which does make it considerably cheaper.

As you say though, can this really be a big saver in admin costs?

Far too early to say that now, the whole incident may prove to be positive for us, rallying around each other and Samir will be out to prove he's more than what the media are portraying him as

Hahahaha it's a right positive I must say/

Mate he can't potray to be something he's not he's a piss poor footballer at end of the day, pun intended.

You'll get people signing up and stopping a lot per season for the games they want to watch in that month, really would just be a lot easier to reduce season ticket costs.

Well Brighton fans, congratulations as you've probably got all 3 points now for Saturday. Considering JFC is ineligible it seems like a ridiculous idea for Winkleman to ban Carruthers for this game, considering we only have Potter that can realistically play in a holding role now.

It's in the general championship thread pal.

It'll be interesting to see if it works and their PL parachute monies gives them a leeway

Yeah yeah that all sounds great 'n all, but we will conspire to lose this game, especially given the silly number of fans (inc. myself) travelling on Sat.

I do have to give Winkleman, whom I detest really quite a lot, the tiniest bit of credit for banning Carruthers with your Championship status at stake.

We have a large fan base, it's not unusual to see a lot of Wolves fan where I live in Warwickshire. I also know a lot of Wolves fans from when I lived in Lancashire, was part of a supporters group called Yorkshire Wolves too who had about 60 members.

Not meaning to have a dig at Rotherham but it's a different scenario where a huge majority of your fans are from Rotherham or Sheffield. (Might be wrong with that, do you have many fans in places like Doncaster, Barnsley?)

The vast majority of out fans are from Rotheham, Rotherham is bang in the centre of South Yorkshire and borders Sheffield, Barnsley and Donny.

Places like Aston, Mexbrough and Conisbrough could be classed as Sheffield, Barnsley or Donny but come under Rotherham metropolitan borough council, so are technically still Rotherham, won't be many who actually come from Sheffield, Barnsley and Donny who support us.

Apparently he's going to sit in the stands, and won't get involved during the game at all. So what exactly is the point in him being here?

Had a fanboy moment with Gareth Ainsworth tonight, nicest guy you'll ever meet,.Loving his job at Wycombe but managing Preston or Blackburn is the aim. My pissed up mate even asked him for his best PNE 11 and he spent 10 minutes explaining his choices. Legend.
