A much welcome and somewhat surprising 3 points for us! Sounds like we have shithoused our way to it with plenty of timewasting and pissing off the Blackburn crowd but will take it however they come this season.

And shock that playing a sensible balanced midfield and putting Brown in his right position pays dividends. Hope the little dalliance of playing without a DM and asking Brown to defend has passed now.

Plenty of timewasting and game management; so we have no excuse to moan about it from anyone else this season - it wasn't quite Wycombe-esqe. Although we almost managed to become unstuck a couple of occasions. Two very average sides based on today's showing.

I was at Charlton-Leeds today and Leeds will be very disappointed they didn't win. They clearly lack a finisher, so many chances, should have been 1-0 up within 30 seconds. Some of the one and two touch passing is exceptional but with no one to stick the chances away it counts for nothing.

Charlton's goal was just a mess, their only real effort of the first half, looked like the keeper should have done so much better as he kinda just pushed it into Bonne who was lying on the floor and in it went.
Thought Williams was excellent for the time he was on for Charlton.

Leeds 23, Phillips, was a liability, if he wasn't losing it in midfield then he was just putting it out of play with his attempted long balls and Bamford just strolled about trying to look pretty. The rest of their team look very accomplished though and you'd imagine if they had a striker or two Leeds would be strolling to the title.

Leeds did not deserve to win. They offered next to fuck all. Better footballing team clearly but they literally just relied on crosses into the box and hoping for the best. Most over hyped team I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen two or three better teams than Leeds this season.
