Same can be said for your 3rd goal. Even your 1st pen, I’m not sure Massengo has even touched Johnson there to be honest.

The officials were weak as piss and couldn’t handle the stick from the home ends.
Do you know who the referee was? It was the same bloke we had at home to QPR last season.

I know I'm only joking. The Massengo challenge, there was definitely contact, I was sat in line with it and he connected with Johnson's leg as he went to shoot.

The officials are weak as piss in the Championship as a whole. I can't think of the last time I come off a game and thought that ref was good today, I didn't notice him at all.

Would be nice to get some credit coming out of the North.

Tony Mowbray: "We should be beating teams like Luton Town, with all do respect". Well if you're adding that disclaimer at the end, you're clearly being disrespectful. "It was a pretty dominant performance". Not really? Bossed possession yes, but it was because they were chasing the game. A lot of their possession not in threatening areas.

Another comment on 606 last night from a Stoke fan:
Chris Sutton: So why did it work for Jones at Luton. You dont become a bad manager overnight.
Caller: Well there's a massive gap between Luton and Stoke.

No mate, it's because we're actually together as a club and building it up bit by bit. We had the same 'almightier than thou' attitude in the Conference... it didn't work.

We’re supposed to just come up from League One and roll over like good little boys, don’t forget that.

I don’t think the gap between Stoke and Luton is that big, it’s only 8 points.

Top result for us yesterday, biggest away win for some time. Seems like we played to our strengths and exploited their inability to defend crosses. Makes up for throwing the cup game away mid week, just outside the play offs and a couple from top, got to go to Hull on Tuesday and get something now to get us right in the mix.

The Bauer goal for Preston should not have stood. That's a shocking (non) decision.

What are you meant to do if the opposition don't challenge for the ball?

Hadn’t seen that angle, doesn’t look too great. Probably a foul, have watched all the angles of Bauer’s goal though, definitely holds Baker down and uses him to leap higher.

I don't see nothing wrong with Bauer's goal, he's got up early and won the header.

Bristol City defenders had used Barkhuizen as a climbing frame all afternoon, it's a bit hipocritical of them to all of a sudden claim they're fouls when it works against them.

Got up early (on the shoulders of Baker) is the problem, obviously.

Got two arms on him before he’s even contacted the ball so not sure how you’ve come to that conclusion. If that’s not a foul then neither is the Diedhiou one where he’s got two arms on him.

Yep, and a complete passion killer. It's changing the game and not in a good way.
I was watching GSS yesterday and had 365 notifications on for our game and the games I’d be on and it came up that Villa had scored in a game I’d bet on, went out of the room to get a drink and go to the toilet and came back and they were still at the game on Sky waiting to see if it would be given or not. Don’t think it was eventually given either, can’t be arsed with that every week so I’m glad we’re in this league.

Yeah it's ridiculous. It won't be long until some bellend suggests using it for every throw in etc.

Don’t travel north mucker.

You know that. Sold out at Brentford and Luton coming up. Granted they’re not big allocations.
Yep, unless it's a big game, anything north of Stoke can do one. The ironic thing is it will probably take just as long to get to Luton as it did Deepdale.
We just don't travel to the north in decent numbers. We can but rarely do.
A poor number from us yesterday admittedly. I didn't bother like many City fans so I'm part of the problem I guess.

I didn’t either. Done Preston loads of times, seen us play well there once and drank there quite a few times so couldn’t be bothered. Saving it for Brentford and Luton, I’ll get to most aways though as we’re miles better away than at home.

It’s hard to challenge for a ball if you’ve got two hands pushing you down on your shoulder.

Diedhiou’s disallowed goal was a foul but I don’t see much of a difference between that and your 3rd goal.

Watch this clip, right at the end, it's very brief but I think it shows clearly that Bauer leaps first, then holds your lads shoulders on the way down.

Notice there are no complaints from your players.

Click into the actual tweet rather than playing it via this website, you'll get a slightly clearer picture.

He leaves the ground before touching Baker
