Keep leaving Watkins completely unmarked, madness.

Anyone finishing below Barnsley will very likely be in L1 next season.

On his way down, of course it looks bad from that angle but this is after the header, I'm sure Fry was similar for our fourth yesterday but it wasn't a foul.

Thank fuck for that. Thought the worst when the goal went in.

Must have hit the woodwork more than any other team this year - glad it didn’t cost us this time.

Hopefully start of a run, but we play a lot of in form sides in the next few games

Lucky to draw level, looked a pen on Chaplin, the one on Schmidt was even more blatant.

Benrahma, Watkins and Canos looked very good mind.

We don't get penalties so I'm not even going to bother addressing that. Not had one at Oakwell in the championship since October 2016.

Anyway, Brentford were easily the better side and fully deserved their win. We were embarrassingly bad after the first 20 mins, leaving Watkins on his own a few yards out no less than FOUR times. We're absolutely fucked this season as it stands. If we don't get some experienced heads in in January we'll finish bottom easily, we won't though because our owners only seem to be interested in profit. I expect Brentford to comfortably be top 10, very tidy side.

Canos is dead wasteful ain’t he Magpie? I guess you could say your whole front three are but I was gutted when we missed out on him as a 19 year old but he’s not really ever kicked on since.

Yeah, though he brings a more direct style than a lot of our other players which is great at times. Got two assists today to be fair.

He really was starting to kick on at one point, got an injury and then couldn’t get past Benrahma and Watkins to get into the team. He’s good and still has loads of potential, but hard being stuck behind players like them.

Boro away, they look pretty poor this year, hoping for 3pts, if we can nick an early goal then the home crowd will turn on them and the shit housing can commence.

Maguire looks lost on the right, so i'd bring Potts in for Harrop, assuming Bodin is still injured anyway.

I'd probably bring in Browne for Gallagher too who had an off-day on Saturday, think we need to get our runners in the side against this lot. Their two full backs looks shite so should leave gaps.

Hope DJ is ok, he was in the wars on Saturday, was limping badly after winning the penalty and again in the second half.

Brentford away Wednesday, our last visit to Griffin Park unfortunately. They seem to be a completely outfit at home compared to away from home yet in recent years we've had more joy at GP against them than at AG.

Away at Hull, win this one and we're well up there towards the automatic spots 10 games in, would be pleased with a point as well, after the good result on Saturday it's important to back it up with something else now. Would also be typical Wednesday to put in an abject performance and fall to a tame 1-0 defeat. Hull haven't started very well, but with the likes of Bowen and Grosicki in their team they'll definitely be capable of beating anyone in this league on their day. Can't change the team after the performance at Boro.

Me neither. We may make it easy for them like we did with Brentford, we may make them work for it like we did with Leeds, but whatever the case I'll be hugely surprised if they don't come away with the 3 points.

We've not been very good either so who knows.

Was going to nip over after work but viewing a house instead now - that's how bothered I am about football at the mo.

Hopefully back to back wins for Cocu, we seem to do well at Oakwell.

You've won a couple in recent years because you've always been going for promotion and we've always been pissing about near the bottom.

Who knows what will happen when we're both shit (albeit us a lot more shit).

Clash of the shite uns at Stoke tomorrow. I know its still quite early but whoever loses will already be highly unlikely to stay up.

I wouldn't go that far. Udders have the advantage of parachute payments to spend if need be, plus Stokies have billionares in the board room.
