Everyone sucking off Bielsa.

Just a ‘look at me’ moment. If Sheffield United lost yesterday, no way does Bielsa allow Villa to equalise.

Hector was superb for them. It was basically our forwards v him in the 1st half. (Wonder if they'd be up for swapping him for Andy Boyle?)

Ripley looks like there's defo something to work with there. Seemed to lose a bit of confidence in the 2nd half, but it was so refreshing to see our keeper coming for high balls and plucking them out of the air (especially in the 1st half)

DJ ran round like a madman, sliding in etc and ran himself into the ground. Nice to see that the fans appreciated it and made it known with a number of rapturous applauses.

Fish is one of my favourite players. Absolute warrior and looks even better at LB.

I thought Maguire had a decent game too, but he's taken a bit of stick on Pne-online. Again, ran himself into the ground and battled well all game. Obviously going through a bit of loss of form/confidence though...... things aren't quite coming off for him, on the ball. His touch and shooting are a bit iffy at the moment.

Robinson is just pure class, but unfortunately it looked like he was very upset leaving the pitch. First as a sub, then at the end of the lap of honour. Looked like he was saying goodbye.

Stockley is a goalscorer. Give him decent service in and around the box, and we've got a 15+ goal a season striker, for sure.

Davies and Storey looked dodgy at times, but what do we expect? They're kids, learning the game. Phenomenal prospects though. Mawene level and beyond type potential. Love seeing them plucking the ball out of the air calmly as fuck, even though they've got opposition players bearing down on them, then offloading with a simple accurate pass to a team mate (instead of just shanking a hoof out of play).
So confident and brimming with a confident swagger, both of them.

Fucking mad game that. Loved it.

Maguire was good against Ipswich too, been out of sorts this season but needs a settled role. Should have bagged just before the red.

Think I love Fisher more than Pearson.

Have to say that's one of the best goals I have ever seen.

Adomah straight from kick off dribbles through the entire Leeds team and score from outside the box. No keeper in the world could save that, he didn't even move!

Goal of the season contender?

The battle of Elland Road.

That was as tough of a game as we’ve had this season.

Did you manage to sit on your hands when Leeds scored?
Other than the local rivalries Leeds are the team I like to beat. You can’t help but dislike them, and two of my best mates growing up were Leeds.

Brentford away to end the season, 12.30 kick off and no trains to London Euston, bet people are buzzing for this one.

Pearson won't be risked and Browne has a bit of an issue with his knee so i'd hope he's rested too. Ledson suspended and I imagine Potts is still out so I can see Maguire being asked to play behind Stockley in this one, with Nmecha back on the right. I'd give Huntington a run out, Storey has struggled in the last couple of games, looks spent.

Wouldn't be against playing some younger guys like Baxter, O'Reilly & Ginnelly but I'd like to see us finish in the top half, even if it means little in the grand scheme of things.

Ripley
Rafferty, Huntington, Davies, Fisher
Gallagher, Johnson
Nmecha, Maguire, Robinson
Stockley

Those podcasts are surprisingly good, some great stories come out of them.

Nicky Adams putting someone's nob in his mouth to get out of paying £30 is a cracker.

Bolton v Brentford 0-1

Our best performance of the season, very even match, Brentford brought 4500 fans in for a sell out crowd, and it was nip and tuck all the way until a 55 yard back pass took an evil bounce, and went into the top corner...

Seriously, at least the joke ends on Sunday

Decent result, lifts us up into 12th, chance of finishing in the Top 10 on the final day if we beat Preston.

Good to come out of a scrappy game with no injuries or yellow cards. Poor turn out by our away support though, no one even went.

I know it means fuck all but what if the game was against a team that mattered, I guarantee it would have had to have taken place.

I know it doesn't mean much where you finish in mid-table but the fact Brentford have a free 3pts and a long rest before they play us, meaning they'll most likely finish above us, all because of Bolton's incompetence is bull shit.

Think you'll find in this case, it is the EFL's fault. They cannot force players to cross a picket line to play a match, which is what they initially tried to do, they also saw what was coming (let's be honest, this has been coming since the start of the year), and did nothing, they then allowed a man they banned for 3 years, to start a process to buy a football club in financial freefall. Then were asking the u23's to play the fixture when they only played on the thursday, and so according to their own rules, are not allowed to play a match a the saturday.

Yes, we have been truly screwed of our own making, but the EFL have powers to stop it regressing further, and they didn't, to the point where it affected the integrity of the league
