Took Forest apart with relative ease, the strikers bullied their centre halves and we controlled midfield. Game won at half time and just saw out the second half.

You're on a mad run you lot aren't you.
Very strange campaign so far. I barely recognise the side now, but it’s the same team that earlier this season genuinely didn’t look like they knew how to play football.

The dullest 0-0 iv ever seen. No shot's on target from either side. Even worse than last seasons 0-0 with Stoke. Sky have to show the fixture live next season if we both stay up.

That Cornick miss....

Horrendous wasn’t it. As soon as he missed it you knew we would concede.

People have been on Jones a little bit recently, rightly so after the 7-0, but think yesterday and Stoke are just down to the players not being good enough. He did his job in both games in setting us up to try and shithouse our way to a result but both games let down in key moments by key players.

Only if you’re in complete disarray.

We were in turmoil, the first season was extremely enjoyable until the last 3 matches, after that the next 4 seasons got worse and worse until finally we found mr chris wilder.

Wednesday away next on Sky - Sunday Midday KO

Not expecting anything at a ground we rarely get anything from. Just want to see a decent performance, we’ve been shite to watch lately.

That bad eh?

He obviously did well for you in his first year but seems to have lost it after that?

He had a fucking right squad tho, as soon as it was torn apart he got found out.

How's your new stadium coming along?

More info on the Luton thread but planning permission approved and now going through the whole courts process as the owners of the local shopping centre are challenging it. Today in fact is been announced there appeal for judicial review has been rejected which is massive massive news. They can take it to the high court but they are running out of options now and the weight of legal opinion isn’t with them. So by the new year we may be in a position to know definitively if it’s going ahead.

Tough loss today and to me it’s becoming increasingly apparent that we do not have the quality for this level. We’ve tried to keep it tight and hit them on the break and have done in the last few. We looked quite solid (for us!) defensively but going forward we simply don’t have the quality to make the few openings we make count. Again we cocked up a 1v1 against the keeper whereas teams punish us in those situations.

Its not really helped playing the diamond with 2 fullbacks who are clearly not comfortable or learning the position. Bolton did ok today but was clear Swansea wanted to pick on him, Bree reasonable defensively but a total non entity in attack and very reluctant to get forward.

Think Jones has done well in recent weeks in trying to make the most of what we have but Subs were a bit odd today. I didn’t see the need for Tunnicliffe as Butterfield/Berry we’re doing ok. We lost shape with him after that I felt. His corner at the end there sums him up as a player for me.

Absolute scenes in the away end at the den today. Millwall started well and I thought we were in for a rough afternoon but we nicked a goal against the run of play and from then on were probably the better team. To get our first away win of the season at one of the form teams is just fantastic :woo:

Top result for Barnsley esp to have the heart to come back after conceding a late equaliser having led for so long.
