It must be incredibly frustrating to support Gladbach. They're not good in the cups (against Sevilla or in midweek at Bielefeld) but are capable of beating the best team in the world (won 2-0 at Bayern a couple of weeks back). Don't think Wolfsburg will fall in the trap though. They'll want a final against Bayern and get a trophy for their excellent season.

I fancy Wolfsburg to win the Europa.

Bayern will do a treble this year I think.

Bayern are obviously going to win the Bundesliga - it would be unthinkable for them to not win it. Wolfsburg have gone from leaps and bounds this season, De Bruyne has been sensational, and they're getting the best out of Bas Dost.

In all essence - it will surely be Bayern Munich vs VFL Wolfsburg for the final of the DFB Pokal. I just hope Wolfsburg can cap off a great season with a trophy.

Given they are flying high in the Bundesliga, they might be in the UEFA Champions League instead. Favre is obviously getting the best of Gladbach. It was remarkable that they beat Bayern Munich in their own backyard, but it was thanks to Manuel Neuer, a usually reliable goalkeeper, to gift them that victory.

If Wolfsburg can replicate that 4-1 win over them at the turn of the year, then they have every chance of beating Bayern. But Bayern are used to being in Berlin for cup finals (it's why they have won it 2 years in a row).

Ribéry might miss Porto and Alaba is out until late May. Might be a tougher end of season for Bayern than everyone expects.

Hannover drew at home to Hertha Bsc last night 1-1. 12 games without a win for Hannover! What's the record for that in the Buli?

I can actually see Paderborn beating Augsburg at the bottom while I can't see Hamburg doing too well at home to Wolfsburg. Hopefully Stuttgart can beat Bremen at home as well to make for a great end of the season for the relegation play-off spot.

Good call on Paderborn. Gladbach were around 3/1 today which was madness but annoyingly my acca including them ended last night as I backed Hertha.

Bayern roll on towards the title, Leverkusen continue their excellent form, looks like it's going to be a good fight for 3rd with Gladbach.

Gladbach'll want that 3rd spot. I remember one year they finished 4th and got knocked in the play-offs. Reckon Favre knows that if they don't have the pressure of the play-offs, they'll be able to start their season better.

Great win for Paderborn. Their first since beating their winless pals Hannover in mid-February. Just 2 points behind Hannover and Köln now. Would be great if they could make a fight of it. Hamburg are losing to Wolfsburg as expected but I really hope Stuttgart beat Bremen tomorrow.

Hannover are in freefall, and really shouldn't be there. It's just mismanagement and lack of confidence. It was a miracle Paderborn went up and no one expected them to be competitive, but they have tried (smallest team in the Bundesliga, as well as a small stadium).

To be honest, I don't see Hamburg staying up. They're changing their manager about 50 times a week and they can't find the right one. Stuttgart are nearly dead and buried. They shouldn't be there, for a club that big, and the players they have (Timo Werner etc).

Disagree on the Paderborn miracle. Lots of sides were battling it out last season behind Köln and Paderborn just got the results that mattered. It's the same situation this season tbh with Ingolstadt in front and Darmstad, Karlsruhe and Lautern aiming for 2nd spot.

Cmon Stuttgart, beat Bremen today!

It's gonna be interesting, certainly!

Even Dortmund/Koln/Hertha aren't far away, though I'll be surprised if any of them suffer a huge drop of form to slip back down to 16th.

Also, I was reading about Thomas Tuchel earlier, and it's quite an unusual situation with him isn't it? Having to sit out the rest of his contract despite leaving Mainz last summer. Strange one, but he's a good manager who won't have much issue getting a job. Perhaps the man to turn Hamburg around if/when they dispense with another manager..

Rumours he's gonna replace Klopp at Dortmund..:jones:

And if he's happy to wait around, despite what has happened this season I would still love him as a Wenger replacement in 2017.

Got tickets for Eintracht v Hoffenheim next month. My first taste of Football outside of England after wanting to go for so long. Mate of a mate is going to try and sort us tickets for Köln v Schalke too.

It was a bit of a surprise seeing Klopp announce that he'll leave at the end of the season, but it was inevitable that it will happen, just a case of when.

Dortmund aren't the same this year, the flash sales of Götze and Lewandowski show how far they've come without them.

Klopp will only go to a country he's comfortable in, and hopefully he comes to England. Maybe replace Pellegrini? Or will he stay in Germany?

Who knows, but he's done wonders for Dortmund. They won't forget that.

He needs a fresh start, and given a bit of time and money he'll do wonders once more I'm certain.

He's done wonders without any money. Reckon the pressure he has been under for the last few years got to him. He'll be back after a year or two like Guardiola.

He said he's not going to take a break from football - and delve straight back into management.

Personally, I think he should take a break - relax himself, have family time, and come back fresh. Just depends on where he manages. At the moment it is difficult to tell.

And regarding the money - I agree. They don't have as much money as Bayern do, but he's recruited well - this season, the team have struggled so the new signings (Ramos, Immobile, Ji ((he left), Kampl, Ginter and Kagawa) haven't been outstanding.

But they are quality players - Kampl is skilled, and Ginter is a great CB. Get them playing well and they'll thrive.

Reckon Ginter is not good enough for European Football. Still young though.
