Robson looks better than Embleton to me. Doesn't drive forward with the ball as much, but is great on the ball and better in the tackle than Embleton for me. Still early days of course, though.

Well the Mansfield fans were right about them for the first 30 mins, were rarely in our half. After that though Wright went of injured and we lost our way and reverted to route one to Hanson in which Mansfield just stuck three players on him and we still insisted on booting it to him.

Hanson really should have scored a one on one too but fluffed it wide. Mansfield came back into it more last 15 but that was more because without Wright the ball wasn't sticking up front anymore and we seemed to have run out of ideas without him.

That’s our 100th sending off this season, a record only beaten by Lincoln under Cowley.

 That was coming all day long. Told you that we are more than capable of being world beaters one week and unable to beat a pub team the next. Sounds like we missed Wright a lot when he went off. Said all window that we needed another winger, fingers crossed it's nothing serious or we're going to become one dimensional again.

Just like against Salford playing a shite team drop down to their level and can't defend crosses into the box.

Once Wright went off we resorted to the hoof and had no ideas.

Green is a poor footballer apart from his very few goals I really don't see what he does. Everytime he got the ball today he gave it away to be fair the rest of the team was shite too, but it really says something when young Max Wright goes off that we turn crap.

Bet that stung, ‘shit team’ ‘pub team’ and the game only just finished

‘drop down to their level’ HAHA.

No matter how shite ya are, it’s always fun to have a last minute winner. This should not buy Dempster more time mind.

Soon as I saw 6 minutes injury time I said to my lad Mansfield will score here, Garry Hill said that that is the worst Mansfield side we’ve ever lost to.

Grimsby are massive though!

Hopefully we can follow this up against Oldham or else JD will be gone!

Getting called a pub side by the likes of Grimsby

Absolutely delighted, thought we’d get dicked at Grimsby which would show how far we’ve fallen, to come out with a win is amazing.

Just goes to show how different the two sides are and if it carries on where the two will be at the end of the season.

That was a poor performance from us compared to rest of the season but by all accounts a standard one from the stags.

Look at the bright side at least you won't be sacking the manager for another week!

Seen every game this season and only Salford looked worse that Mansfield and with the players you have that should be concerning.

Questions need to be asked of us today though, drop Hanson and Green and comfortably beat the league leaders in there own yard, bring them back today and look where it got us.

Thank god for Frealaf staggies, he’s just made me realise I should be concerned at our performances this season.

Cheers for the heads up.

Most surprising victory I can remember for a long while, it’s just a shame it’s highly likely normal service will resume next week. Adam even shit pub teams can win the odd one!

Mate we know we’re shit.

When we’ve stooped to a level where I genuinely have every confidence where we’re going to lose at bloody Grimsby? Man alive....

We’ve been terrible, we can hardly kick a ball, the tactics are dire, we don’t have a clue what we’re doing, we’ve got a side good enough for promotion that’s close to relegation! We’re all over the place.

We’ve had 5 red cards in 11 games, we’ve not won in ages.

It seems to be that whenever we realise things are bad - we realise there’s always Grimsby.

For the record the pub team comment wasn't aimed at Mansfield, more that we're capable of losing to one on our day. You're more than welcome to believe what you want though.

I'm more than used to seeing us get a result like this. It's annoying but we're on an upward trend, I'm sure we'll forget about it very quickly. Games like these are what help identify where we need to strengthen in January and Jolley rarely disappoints on that front.

This injury time winner will definitely buy Dempster more time. The man in the boardroom will ensure that.

Just 4,400 fans in the home ends today. Your away support is consistently good but why don't people turn up at Blundell Park? Too many exiles?

A shame that a normally good Mansfield side has been reduced to gamesmanship and winding up the opposition. But that 3 points should hopefully aid their promotion push.

Wait...
