I can give you countless examples of clubs in different divisions who's fans pay special attention to. Once a side drops down a division or another goes up, that means fans completely ignore them? Or do you just stop?

If so how come Stags fans post so readily in the Non League forum regarding Notts and moreso Chesterfield? And have threads with thousands of posts each on two sides not in their division? Any ideas?

Rivals don't become extinct when you aren't in the same division. Can't believe I've just had to type that.

Some weird folks get all obsessed and infatuated about away followings and who made more noise! Explain that? Obsession appears to widespread throughout the Onefootballforum and not just this thread or any one club or person. You often see posters claiming it's weird how another club seems obsessed with their own#glasshouses. The vast majority of the time they aren't.

I wonder if the 'article' is actually those status updates from John and Carolyn, as from the tone of them it seemed that they were unhappy with the way the mood of supporters had turned although attendances weren't mentioned. This theory would support Viking not being obsessed with us though if he can't remember.

Tbh you never did ever come up with any actual evidence when you spoke with such certainty on here every time you reported how much a player was on at another L2 football club and how much an undisclosed transfer fee actually was.
