Just to be clear to anybody, Flitcroft was sacked due to a board vote, Dempster will go the same way unless JR just decides ‘fuck it’ and sacks him, it’s highly likely it was Mansfield who attempted to get Taylor at Exeter and I personally think the only reason Dempster is still here is because we have no replacement nor even somebody to do the ‘caretaker’ role because that’s what he used to do!

Looooool.

Ok then fellers, keep posting what you post and wonder why people keep arguing with you. It’s no coincidence.

Just 4,400 fans in the home ends today. Your away support is consistently good but why don't people turn up at Blundell Park? Too many exiles?

That's about normal, we only averaged around 6k in the championship days.

Reading Twitter everyone saying the ref was abysmal and Mansfield are dirty cheating fuckers.
Any truth in that from anybody who watched it or is it just a case of sour grapes?

When I was a teenager a kick in the teeth result like that against 10 men would’ve ruined my whole weekend whereas now by about quarter past 5 i already didn’t give a shit as it’s only a game of football.
Yet my lad who turns 13 next week was still absolutely fucking raging when I left for work at 20 to 6 and had to be sent upstairs to calm down a bit. :bg:

Wouldn't say they were cheating but the ref was abysmal didn't have a clue, for basic things. One of their players went down and ref played on about 30 seconds later we win a corner there player is still down so he brings play back and gives them a drop ball.

Ref just one of those who wanted to be center of attention rather than just letting the game flow.

I feel for the him, I used to be that same lad when I was younger - after we lost the play-off final to Huddersfield years ago I told my mum the next day she can chuck all the programmes I’ve collected (hundreds of them) because I was raging, she was waiting for the opportunity and actually did it I was devastated and still quite haven’t got over it

Viking, just waiting for that link to the article still mate. Cheers.

On a Saturday night? Really? You should go out.

I remember that play off final, chipped penalty down the middle?

Will have a look tomorrow on a lazy Sunday ;)

The mardiest I ever got after a game was away at Swindon and I was about 14 or 15 so guessing somewhere around 94/95 season and we were 2-1 up going into injury time and ended up losing 3-2.
I used to deliver the Sports Telegraph back then which was a local sports paper with the Town game report on the front and I used to read it as I was on the round but that night I couldn’t bring myself to read one word of it and after delivering them I went to my room and spent the whole weekend sulking and barely spoke and only came out of my room to eat.
Looks like my lads gonna be just like me the poor sod.

I think in reality us Mansfield and Grimsby lot on here are pals, next time we play let’s all meet up and watch celebrity catchphrase after the game, Viking can come but only if he brings a dunce hat to wear, nice chance for him to watch some proper league football.

It’s a tough old world supporting a lower league club! At least we are football league clubs mind :D

Yes, reading this thread without doubt Grimbo and Stags fans are all pals on here. There is so much evidence of that, especially just after the final whistle . Friendssssss

I'm.hugely confident I've seen more league football than you have lad. Comfortably :ohy:

The Virgin Magpie is back again with his stags obsession.

Looking at the highlights the red is shocking, wonder why we’ve decided to try and kill players on the pitch this season.

Hopefully this can trigger some form!

Think he got giddy with the last minute equaliser at Dover.

I meant what else could get you motivated? A draw at Dover.... something to tell the grandchildren

I'm down for that and yes we are good friends on here, in my opinion. Two of the best represented sides in L1/L2 on 1FF/TFF. Like a sibling you can say horrible things to and then it is all okay in the morning when we sit down for breakfast with Luke Imp our nice mum who has left us and our dad JJ1532 who talks to us about Crewe for ages and doesn't agree with democracy.

Surely its good to have a lot of exiles turning up at away games? Just need more of the grumbling old feckers of Gy and Clee to turn up at Blundell Park. No doubt they will be there for the Scunny game at Christmas (as will lots of exiles on holiday).

Actually home crowds are down this season compared to the last time we didn't have a disastrous start to the season. Some bloke called Hurst was manager - he must have been have been packing them in with his charisma and a team playing barnstorming football...

Oh Adam, make it more difficult. I could also tell them about back to back play off final wins at Wembley, or playing in the top flight against the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United. After I may even tell them about the Munro years, at least it was exciting.

What seasons and highlights are you going to pick out? Losing to Huddersfield on penalities in comical fashion? Beating Chesterfield at Field Mill in a L2 game?

Great sample chosen Fish for your study . You do realise more Stags fans post on Notts threads and in the NL forum, than Pies on the Stags and L2 forum? But why let facts get in the way of an average post! Lol. I've also seen quite a few posts from Grimsby fans in NL section already this season. Which is fine you can post anywhere on here, right?

I love it when Stags and now Grimsby fans talk about other fan or fans on here being obsessed. Nope not hypocrites at all, literally no evidence of obsession from those two sets of supporters :pmsl:

Yes that is correct, as we post on general non league stuff and don’t just OBSESS on one particular team.
Thanks for asking.
