You quite clearly can or will be able to.
I think his point is more that E10Rifle is accusing him of giving it Billy big bollocks just for stating that we have not been given as many initial tickets as we would have liked.
I was tempted to reply also to E10Rifle but realised that he seems to come on here purely to get reactions so didn't bother wasting my time.

It's more the restrictions than the allocation, but the restrictions on buying (which exclude me from buying at the moment) are, I suspect, imposed by GTFC as a result of the allocation (ie alot fewer tickets than ST holders). I go past Meadow Lane every day to work, but I can't just walk up and get the tickets I want for the Jimmy Sirrel stand and I can't get them online, or in person at the ground on the day. But he is right I can get tickets...

I'm still pretty sure the allocation will be what Grimsby requested/predicted, anyway. There's no reason for us to give you 1,800 tickets if you're gonna bring 3,000, we could probably do with the money.

I enjoy how much teams underestimate our away followings. Bit like a Pompey fan who complained when we went up about 'another side who will bring 10 fans'.

What does Doncasters away end hold? Could be similar problems when we go there in December?

It's only a problem in that there is a restriction when it is not necessary. ST holders bought 1,050 ticket apparently. Why not send over 2.5k tickets to BP last Monday, allow ST holders 48 priority (because they need to be made to feel special), and then put them on general sale from the middle of last week allowing plenty of time for post-outs to exiles. And then so what if we send some back. Maybe its GTFC who have caused this - I don't know. I've got mine now anyway thanks to a ST holder.

We've now sold 1650 after the first day of general sale. We are getting an extra 600 tickets sent though.

The Billy Big Bollocks award specially awarded by E10rifle......
Excellent, that's what I've always wanted really. Can we rename the trophy the Gargantuan Gy Gonad Athletic Support...for the club with the unfeasibly large following...

I doubt Grim would sell out the Sirrell, the Mighty Stags of Woodhouse didn't manage it last season. I'd be surprised if you even sold out that initial allocation tbh. I know Nottinghamshires finest, the worlds oldest league club are a big draw and all, but seriously, the locals in Cleethorpes don't get much further than the Lincolnshire border

In fairness 3000 odd on a Friday night wasn't a bad effort. Even to see the "oh so massive delights of a big city" :ffs:

Actually, I've always said our away support at the moment isn't good - it's just normal we've always had good away support, it's just our home support that is shit, the last time it was good was the 1971/72 and 1972/73 seasons. Yours is even worse...didn't Mansfield used to get 4/5k at this level in the 70s?

We got that for 3/4 years in 2001-2005.

The current owner is fantastic, the club have came on leaps and bounds off the pitch, we're truly unrecognisable from what we were 5 years ago as a club and how we're ran.

There are still dissenting voices as to what incentives Radford puts in for the younger generation (not much) the farcial all ticket affair each game

Our away support has always been good but in recent years it's got even better.

It's nice to go to ground with stands and fans there, unlike the conference

3pm, thank fuck. I think we'd be taking 50% of what we are, for a 12.15 kick off.

12!?! thats feckin loads of time - when I was lad working in Lancashire, I'd leave Burnley at 12, burn the Peugeot diesel along the M62, have time for a couple of pints in the Rutland, haddock and chips and, if I was lucky, I'd have had a stop-off in Brigg for a quickie with the woman...and I'd still be in my spot at the back of the Pontoon for Shaun Cunnington leading them out...and I only got a speeding ticket once...

When we play bad, it's hoofball that doesn't work. We're usually quite good when we pass it. Hurst is a complete tinkerman so the team we put out will determine the football. We're quite dangerous on the break too.

Hmmm, Meadow Lane is a great ground to play counter attacking football because the pitch is big.

Notts are still getting an identity but basically we will be organised and try and get it forward quickly, but not necessarily hoofing it. Should be a good game, disappointing I can't make this one
