MM is right.

The way you worded it suggests being a shit poster is a positive.

Sort it out Pags.

No, in this context it suggests that him being shit hasn't stopped some taking him seriously, and he shouldn't be.

No.

You are wrong and should have worded your post better.

The way I see it is that it implies that some people take shit posters seriously when they don't, do they? If you had made that point about childs I would have understood as some childs are not to taken seriously in terms of football opinions but others yes.

I'd like to know what JohnnyTodd makes of groundhoppers. He still bangs on about supporting your local team and that if you live far away you've comitted a cardinal sin but groundhoppers don't have this allegiance to a given stadium every two weeks.

Jose's doing the same thing he used to do before, but they used to call it "mind games". Now that he's always losing suddenly he's bitter and toothless.

Never nice to see someone on the brink of losing their job but I can't help but take some pleasure out of this situation. He took digs at just about every single manager in the game when they were down so it's hilarious to see him in that situation.

Must be a difficult situation for Abramovich too. I'm sure he had some long term thinking in mind when he hired Mourinho but surely this can't go on?

Apparently a first team player was heard saying they'd rather lose than win for Mourinho.

What the fuck is going on at Chelsea?

Then that player is an unprofessional bellend who deserves sacking for professional misconduct. You win for the fans and the club, not for a manager who might not be there is 3 months time.

Yeah, doesn't matter how much you hate your manager. That says more about the player than it says about Jose.

His main issue at Chelsea this time around is that he doesn't seem to have cultivated the "We don't fucking lose attitude", and that may be down to the players. During his first stint at Chelsea and his time at Inter he had 11 Diego Costas; a bunch of c***, but ones that would refuse to lose and give 110% no matter what.

Chelsea fans can correct me but i get the feeling that Hazard, Oscar and Fabregas don't fit that bill. They don't seem to react well to adversity, hence the team suffered creatively going forward and the rest of the puzzle just crumbled.

Of course, Jose's antics don't help as well, but the players should get part of the blame as well.

Well, you're getting as many wins/points as you did before you had money and fans. It's like a return to normality if you like.

We could be in league 2....our fans still wouldn't look and sound as daft as your turgid excuse of a fan base.

"Playing here is like playing in an empty stadium.

“The team then starts playing like it’s a quiet, soft game at home. It’s difficult to get that strong start where the players, team and fans at Stamford Bridge [are all together].

“I was today looking around and it was empty, but not in terms of people because it was obviously full. That’s what frustrating.” - Jose Mourinho

Christ, he'll stop at nothing. He's even blaming the fans for the team being shit now!

One of the biggest myths in football is Chelsea had shit attendances pre Abramovich. Chelsea always had big attendances and i would estimate top 5 in the country.

Spot on - it says more about the player than it does anything else in my opinion.

If one of his team-mates heard him say that, they should be grabbing him, taking him to one side and telling him he's bang out of order

Afraid not. Well, unless the football was top flight, and even then not always. I'm sure it was all well and good decades ago but in the last 30-35 years it's less clear. Between 1979 and 1985 they were in the old division 2 and averaged around 18,000 a game. In 1983 the average was as low as 12,000. Then they were relegated again in 1988 and, following that in 1989, they averaged 15,000, again in the old division 2. But even in mid to late 90s when they regularly finished in the top 4 they averaged less than 30,000 in some seasons, well over 10,000 less than their capacity. Then after 2003 when Abramovich took over they averaged the 41,000 capacity every season and have done ever since (although there could be some massaging there ala Emirates). See table below.

What happened with Eva Carneiro was shit from Mourinho. But if it didn't involve a woman (and I daresay, a visually appealing woman at that), would there be as big a deal being made out of it? By the press in particular?

And before mdb gets on my case, it's not a question based on any form of sexism. It's a good thing that it's getting so much attention. I just can't imagine the same happening if it was a male doctor who looked like Luke Chadwick. Unfortunately, it would likely have been forgotten about after a few days.

It did involve a man, Jon Fearn, the other physio he publically criticized. But of course as you've kinda proved no one cares.

I've seen rumours—stemming from former Chelsea beat writer, Dan Levene—he'll be sacked after Stoke next weekend regardless of result. Any Chelsea fans familiar with Levene's reliability? Seems he used to write for a local Fulham publication.

Rodgers on a temporary contract to see the season out would be brilliant.

Well, it wouldn't be the first time Chelsea have turned to our castoffs.

I like the point he makes about the stadium being full of people....you could learn a thing or two about that.
