I'm sure I read somewhere that VPNs won't work as you have to provide your bank details that are attributed to an overseas bank account? So unless you can be bothered to try and use fraudulent methods to bypass that, it'll only be available to those genuinely living in another country and not those trying to get it on the sly in the UK.

Be a bit of a piss take if they didn't have something such as that in place. Clubs, especially those with the lower crowds, will suffer enormously if you could watch all 46 of your clubs games for £120 or whatever it is. Hundreds lost in Season Ticket revenue and gate receipts.

Just my opinion but it should do exactly what it's designed to do. Provide the overseas supporters the chance to watch games they, 99% of the time, wouldn't get the opportunity to do. Live, anyway.

Should offer it to U.K. Fans but at a higher cost than a season ticket so if people genuinely can't go or want to watch away games they can still see the match and the clubs still get the similar value to a season ticket sale from it plus a bit extra. Let's be honest why shouldn't I be able to watch us away at Morecambe on a Tuesday night but someone in France could? It just has to be done in a way that's not financially detrimental to clubs.

Anyway, would fans rather watch the game on a crappy stream rather than be there in person if they could?

It needs to not get into the hands of pubs, that's where the damage would be done.

I had an email stating the friendly Luton v Leicester would be streamed on iFollow but couldn't see a link and I dont see the App available in Android Store yet. Seems they're cutting it all a bit fine. Anyone see any updates on where they are at with this?

I don't know any apps that will let you do that, but someone might be able to advise. I generally find live sport on Kodi awful though as a rule.

Depends how it's streamed and if someone broadcasts the stream like they broadcast sky streams. Even if possible I doubt that people will bother streaming most of them.

Your best bet would be just pay for the service and get a vpn to watch all your clubs games

Got IPVanish but just want to watch a handful of away games. Not sure if they will be available on an individual, game by game, basis.

Yes there is an option to watch a game on a match basis rather than season pass. Works out around £5 a game.

Yeah, got the same for us. I can't find where to pay for a single game. It gives the option for a season - $140 - and it says games are available on a match day basis from the match centre. Can't find that anywhere. Costs $7

Click on fixtures then on the live on ifollow icon. You can't purchase it until the day of the game.

Surely you don't need a foreign bank account if people want to watch on holiday or travelling with work you would think they could buy a game pass. Someone will find a way round it I'm sure.

Bank account is no problem. I signed up, 'living in USA' with a UK account fine.

I pay the normal £4.49 a month that I have always done for years ever since it was Player and my stream worked fine (with VPN of course), no extra charge for a day pass thing.

No, a fiver a match and it won;t work without a vpn.

Yours too? Mine wasn't great either and I had to constantly refresh the page.

ps - oh sorry, I missed 'apparently'.

I have the free account and the only options I have to upgrade are £5 a month or £45 season pass

Lucky I can get the local radio commentary but our exiles can't listen to that and have struggled all afternoon.
Not happy they've £45 for the year and only got bits of the game.

Exactly, you'll only get those two options if your vpn is not switched on. You'll only get the 'purchase game' option if your vpn is on.

But what if you have the season pass or monthly pass? Do you still have to pay for the game?
Clarkey_GTFC didn't but he has the old player account, anyone with a new I follow UK subscription had to pay for today's game?

It's not 45 quid for the exiles, it's £110 and they'll get the option of either watching the game or listening to the live commentary. You'd think if given the choice, they'll go for the live footage, but there are some - like those poor chaps who work on Sat - who simply can't watch the game and would have to make do with only the commentary.
