Having Dons in their name was a proper cunty move.

We can't go down on Saturday. Most we can be away is 12 points with 4 to play.

Nah, the most you can be is 10 points. Rotherham play Forest. So if one of them wins you'd be 9 adrift, if they draw you'd be 10 adrift.

(and Blackburn play Huddersfield. Home win = 9 adrift of Hud. Away win = 10 adrift of Bla. Draw = 10 adrift of Hud)

Just out of interest.......

Who has the FA cup in their trophy cabinet, is it MK?

If so, I think they could do their club a massive favour by giving the cup to AFC, and by dropping Dons from their name.

I could be wrong but I think MK did have it but a couple of years back I think all honours were passed on to AFC Wimbledon?

MK should never have taken the 'Dons' as part of their name, they should just call themselves Milton Keynes FC and be done with it.

We have all the trophies in Merton library. When we return to Plough Lane we will be able to take them back, as we will be in Merton too.

But they aren't yours, really are they? You may claim that spiritually they are but they aren't no matter what way you look at it.

I'm not saying they are ours, their neithers, they belong to Wimbledon who are no more.

They represent the achievements of Wimbledon's club. AFC Wimbledon are Wimbledon's club. They have Wimbledon's badge, Wimbledon's colours, Wimbledon's fans (by and large), and they play in Wimbledon. We have many of Wimbledon FC's players involved in our club. I don't think it is at all wrong to claim a degree of ownership of them.

They belong to Merton council and rightly so, if they go back to AFC when they move back then that's almost as wrong as the move in the first place, it's literally like Liverpool ceasing to be and Everton taking all of their trophies because they're a club in Liverpool too

At the end of the day it really doesn't matter, when (if) we get our stadium back in Wimbledon, we will be taking them, and the views of MK fans will count for zilch.

The trophies now belong to Merton Council yes? If Merton Council want to move the trophies out of one office and into a new office, that's up to them yes? So if that new office happens to be at AFC Wimbledon's new ground, well then that's a happy coincidence isn't it. As long as Merton Council aren't forced into it then what's the issue.

It's literally nothing like that.

I believe this is the correct version:

Getting back on topic, 52 points is now the guaranteed safety. However, Blackburn, Fulham, Bristol City, Huddersfield, Forest and Rotherham can secure safety (if MK lose) with a win. However, either (or both) Forest or Rotherham WON'T because they play each other, meaning a maximum of one team out of those two can secure safety. That also means only Charlton CAN'T go down on Saturday. This means there is still hope for the neutrals yet, and my Maths is shite!

the math is more complicated than that because a lot of the teams down there play each other still.

16/04 – Blackburn v Huddersfield/Rotherham v Nottm Forest
19/04 – Nottm Forest v Blackburn/Rotherham v Huddersfield
23/04 – Blackburn v Bristol C/Fulham v Nottm Forest
30/04 – Bristol C v Huddersfield/Rotherham v Blackburn
07/05 – MK Dons v Nottm Forest

Jesus Forest are in real danger, 3 big 6 pointers and if they lose em they're in the shit.
That requires us to win some games though, I genuinely can see us only picking up a maximum of 6 points, and that requires beating Brentford and Forest so we would probably be already down

I'm not even gonna try any more
But just let me try again!

I've done that calculations (I THINK) and the highest amount of points MK can get is 52. Lose this weekend and that becomes 49. So surely 52 is guaranteed safety as no team can get more and go down... right?

So 52 is currently the guaranteed safety.
