A - Worthing
H - Herne Bay

Don't want it to go to the last game!!

Still, Worthing's last match is away to Guernsey and someone says Worthing have been banned from using the airline that goes to Guernsey (Aurigny). They may have to go by ferry?!

I don't expect it to go to the last game. Hill are a great team, but absolutely exhausted, hence your victory at their patch. I predict a draw, but you might just turn them over. The match at Worthing will be difficult for you though- they are absolutely flying at the moment, a bunch of kids who don't know when they're beat.

No offence, but please do!

Both Maidstone AND Margate somehow failing to go up would give us a much better chance next season!

Although I wouldn't mind winning a few Kent derbies on our way to promotion...

;)

I don't see us contending next year should we go up - top half finish and I'd be happy. Push on the year after.

Still all to play for though. I see that Hendon and Maidstone have got the same opponents for the next fortnight - Grays & Dulwich Hamlet. Not easy matches by any means.

I reckon you'd finish top five. It's going to be so competitive next year though. Whoever stays down this season will be strong. Maidstone/Margate (maybe both..) will too IMO. Dartford are always there or thereabouts but I reckon they'd struggle next season. Sutton will be back in contention.

Will be a good season. Just hope we win it!

If anyone in the league is 'absolutely flying' it's us! 7 wins in 7

How did we play today? I'm in the process of moving house so had to miss today :(
I think if we want to make play offs, dulwich are the side to aim for, you know what to do next week, thanks :)

I'm so happy Maidstone will win the league over Margate. Remember at the start of the season when we were (definitely me anyway) 100% certain they'd buy the league! I do hope they go up in the play offs though providing we don't pull off a last minute siege so they won't be around to try & buy the league again next season.

Play Offs... now... Hendon & Margate are secure & will have home semi finals. Dulwich can't possibly fuck it up any more then they already have. The final spot will, obviously, be secured by the mighty Kingstonian when will win all our remaining 3 games starting with ETU tomorrow.

At the foot of the table Bury are gone, AFC Hornchurch will follow (the first ever 1FF/TFF Isthmian 1 North posters?) & Witham are more then likely down too. Final Relegation spot... I reckon VCD however there was all that business earlier of Peacehaven having to demote due to ground regs (or am I making that up?) so if that's the case they would be down regardless of escaping the drop zone.

Wow - in just two games Maidstone have gone from it being out of their hands to needing just one win to get promotion!

Dulwich away will be tough no doubt, but even if they don't win that, with East Sturrock's play-off hopes over bar a miracle, surely if they hold their nerve they shouldn't have too much of a problem at home to a side whose season will be over by the time the teams meet.

Ebbfleet realistically aren't going to make the play-offs either, so with Dartford all but down and maybe Welling joining them (although I'm hoping they stay up), that should mean a host of fun derbies to look forward to next season.

Hype!!! Was a game of fine margins yesterday, with Grays hitting the post before the Maidstone winner. Surely even we can't conspire to balls it up from here.

We are indeed down though the fat lady has not actually got her songbook out yet. So Ryman North here we come - which appears to bear an unfortunate geographical congruence with UKIP's target constituencies. I think I'll call it the Nigel Farage League.

Anyway, been nice knowing you ... we are going out now and may be some time.

2-2 tie with ETU... came from behind twice as well. Ballsed up our slim chance a little bit more. It's not over yet though, mathematically still possible for us to reach the play offs so I shall remain delusional for now!

As there's now only 2 games left for most teams, here's a super awesome coloured table (trademark of Paddy industries)

1st - Champions elect - PLD: 44, PTS: 94
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2nd - Put up a good fight but they'll always be Isthmian - PLD: 43, PTS: 88
3rd - Whitehawk spent less & achieved more - PLD: 43, PTS: 82
4th - Hanging on for dear life like a Hipster's beard - PLD: 44, PTS: 74
5th - Quite the surprise package this season - PLD: 44, PTS: 72
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6th - Essex wanderers with a new home - PLD: 44, PTS: 70
7th - Fuck da police a bit more - PLD: 44, PTS: 69
8th - Play off dark horses - PLD: 44, PTS: 67
9th - The last team who can still mathematically reach the play offs - PLD: 44, PTS: 66
10th+ - no one cares anymore

impressive collapse by Gate, to be sure. You have to wonder if they can switch it back on for the playoffs...

I see they lost 4-3 at Billericay, what order did the goals go in?

Did Margate have a lot of injuries ?
Looked well short of their normal first team.
Or are they playing to finish third and face out of form Dulwich, rather than in form Enfield or Grays in the play offs ?

7 match ban for Rob Tolfrey according to Sam Elliott on Twitter. K's fans may not like it but the punishment does fit the crime.

Tbf, I don't think the punishment particularly unreasonable. It's effectively a 5 match ban anyway because there's not much we can salvage from the current campaign.

7 games is a fair result however I think its a bit of a joke that it's taken this long to administer & the fact that it's 2 games of this season & 5 of next season.

Good thing we got that back up guy!

To be fair our keeper got 9 months, reduced from a year for "Threatening behaviour" so 7 games seems a bit of a result!
Lost 3-2 to Hendon in league cup final last night. Great game, their keeper was possibly the difference with both teams attacking all game, end to end.

I was hoping it would go to extra time just to wear Hendon out even more, haha.

Having watched you both in recent weeks, I have faith you can take something off them in your upcoming league game, so good luck to you in that one!

You couldn't find any amber? That lurid yellow offends my eyes! Still, we won't be here next season so I'll try not to get too worked up.

Tomorrow is going to be massive. 900 odd tickets sold here, Champion Hill will be bursting at the seams. Going to be an epic away day.
