Thank you every body for replying with information.

I refused to give Sky any money or time, so I will not see any games on TV this season (or the next few I suppose). I will have to investigate the vpn route, it appears popular with many.

This deal doesn't sound like a step forward to me, but if all the chairmen and their backers are getting loads of money, I and other supporters don't count.

Just buy a Fire Stick and be done with it.

A one off yearly payment and all the games you could possibly wish for.

Our POD had an interview with the CEO and he was saying the deal does work out much better financially for clubs v ifollow so suppose that is one thing.

To be honest in this day and age I dont see why they dont just put the Saturday 3pm KO's on TV, if your a season ticket holder you would go the game anyway at this level 99 times out of 100 as your die hards.

What do you (and anyone else reading) use? I've been VPNing the past few seasons, served me well when I was living in London as I was getting to more games so the tenners were more sporadic but I dropped a fair amount last seaaon since moving to Kent. The good thing about MarinersTV is the money goes to the club I guess, but I'll be dropping probably triple the cost of a firestick and app subscription going down that route this season so my loyalty starts wrestling with my wallet all of a sudden. Like you say, a massive tick in the Firestick column is other footy, not just Town, so when we're 3-0 down at home to Bromley after 15 minutes I can at least have a flick around the other grounds.

IPTV I've got, and using the Exodus app.

I attend 90% of our games, home and away, so it's rare I watch Vale on it, but there's literally a stream for every Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, National League, Scottish Premiership and Scottish Championship game, plus backup folders in case some have issues.

My kids both have a stick we bought off my Wife’s Dads mate for £80 a year each, in November when our Sky package ends we’re gonna fuck Sky off and get one for us too but not sure what they are exactly, we just call them dodgy sticks.

They are just Amazon fire TV installed on a usb stick. Fire TV is basically built on android (googles IOS) you get on your phones, and someone has then downloaded IPTV software onto it for you so you get all the channels and charged you for doing it.

You could do it all yourself, or pay someone to do it, either way its an easy way to get streams of pretty much anything, if it's on the internet somewhere you can find it.

£80? You've been mugged off there.

I pay £55 a year for two devices.
