Who has more hair? Mourinho, Moyes or LVG.

Head. Mourinho would win hands down (or up) if we went with body.

Van Gaal has cultivated a bouffant style to give the illusion that he has more hair than he does.

That's all I'm saying.

The fans want more exciting, attacking football and yet they're happy with Mourinho?
Michael McIntyre is more entertaining than LVG's brand of football. It really isn't difficult to see why everyone is happy he's gone and anyone else has replaced him (I would have taken John Carver). I don't think I've ever watched a more boring football team this much, it's finally over. :hail:

Yeah. I'd have said Stuart Lee.

Considering this time last year he had just won the Premier League, i'd be interested to see your workings out on that one.

No, we want winning football. But as others have said, Mourinho has shown throughout his career that he's able to play attractive football (as recent as the start of the 14/15 season, Chelsea were a joy to watch).
Without wishing to trot out a cliche (Which invariably means I'm about to trot out a cliche), they were spectacular for just over half that season then kinda just jogged over the line by virtue of being so far ahead. His tendency not to trust his players creativity in big games has always been an issue with me, but can't argue with the guys record.

He'll win things at United no doubt but it won't always be pretty to watch, especially against the other big clubs, I just hope Utd fans are ready for them parking the bus against City, Chelsea, Spurs etc.

Good move from Manchester United this. They were only going downhill with LVG and Mourinho now needs to take charge and fix everything, which certainly isn't beyond his ability. They'll come top 4 first season then win the league in the second. YHIHF.

Who do we think will be chopped from the squad? I think Mata's a certainty, Depay is 50/50 and Fellaini will be surplus. Jones would be a welcome departure too.

It'd be a great bit of revenge if Mourinho announced he was signing for PSG instead.

Macclesfield Town/Manchester City. It's complicated.
Fair play to United fans, caring more about Liverpool fans reaction to this news than actually giving their own. T'was ever thus.

Could be worse... Imagine winning the FA Cup then going into the dressing room to chant about the neighbours that your fans claim to not care about...

Been a disappointment overall but there has been some good moments and he's done well to bring a few talented youngsters through, helped nurture Smalling into a very capable CB (who I think will improve further under Mourinho) and the FA Cup win is a decent platform to build on.

And he stuck it to the English media on an almost weekly basis which is to his credit.
