I dont understand where the predictions of 25k are coming from?? Old Wembley 2000: 35k... Cardiff 2003 and 2004: 40k and 35k respectively... Wembley 2008: cant remember the exact figure but we sold out an initial 30k allocation in 30 minutes and had at least 35k. There will be at least 35,000 at wembley should we make it, no doubt at least a third of them taking a break from watching Liverpool on the telly for the day to watch their first city game since the playoff final.

Heard the first person say to me yesterday - 'Hey, I'm going to Wembley to watch Bristol City if they win!'

So my obvious reply was 'Have you ever watched City before?' And his reply was 'Once when they were in the Championship'

Seeing your team win at Wembley is surely one of the dreams growing up as a kid - I had the chance to do it in 2012 and it will remain in the top 5 moments in my football supporting life the minute Westcarr ran through and made it 2-0 infront of over 20,000 town fans. Enjoy the day whoever gets there but I don't believe the apathy from some about the competition. The final is a top day out.

One of the many thousands of like-minded fans that would all be queuing up for tickets if we ever got to the Premier League. F**k them.

I don't like the feel of complacency that seems to have set in amongst our support. Hope it doesn't reach the players.

We don't do clean sheets so we will have to score at least three at your place. Given our record against you this season, that won't be happening. Enjoy your day at Wembley.

Although the decision was probably made a while ago Sky have got this wrong not showing our game. The Bristol tie is a formality and over. Preston on the other hand have a really good chance of turning this around. We have just lost our last 3 games 1-4, 0-2 and 1-4. We are just not set up correctly by Smith for home games and our record over the whole season so far is dire. I just hope the Wembley incentive and to break our hoodoo is enough for the team.

Really hope I am wrong but if we concede early here is could end up as a 0-3 or 0-4 stroll. Some of our mental fans have already booked accommodation in London for the final!!:dk:

I'm not convince we'll completely sell out Wembley for the final. Somewhere around 30k. What's the total? About 40k isn't it? I would be surprised if we did that.

Im pretty sure they made the decision after both games were played which is why it baffles me, I won't complain, tv money (however small) will be good for the club and I couldn't make it anyway

Considering how small the TV money is (10k?) we could actually lose money by people not turning up and watching on tv. If we make it to the final I'll get a ticket, any trip to Wembley to watch City is worth making.

I hope i will be able to get a ticket if we get to Wembley, but doubt I can afford to and haven't seen City at Wembley yet. (Saw us in the JPT final against Carlisle at the millenium stadium)

Train tickets already booked for Wembley. Too soon?

Could be a shopping trip in London otherwise...

That's fair enough, I've seen City at both Cardiff games Carlisle/Brighton and Wembley vs Hull. Would make sure I have the money for the trip, so miss a few student nights out to save money for it etc.

I'm in Preston so unless Preston get to the final then hopefully train prices won't change too much for me.

Im trying to save money for going to Ukraine to do the fans tournament and no jobs going near me at the moment so that's looking unlikely, might be able to scrape enough money for Wembley if we get there

35k would be a realistic number for us should we get there I reckon. Most City fans have seen us at the new Wembley, win the LDV and its obviously not a close as Cardiff either so selling half the ground would be a big ask.

We've booked our coach tickets for Wembley - Had to put down a £70 deposit on the coach, but incase the impossible happened (Gillingham to beat us by 3 goals) We have put a £5 bet on that happening, which returns £70.

We're set ;)

I can't believe they're showing it live on Sky, what's the point? There's no way we're going to win by 3 clear goals, I don't know of anyone who's bothering to go to Bristol, and at the end of the day it is only the paint pot trophy. This time next year nobody will remember who's won it.

I still can't believe this will be Walsall's first visit to Wembley since they were founded in 1888, that's mental.

In fairness, we made it to the Millenium to be promoted to Championship a little over a decade ago, so that would have been a Wembley visit. Otherwise, yeah - great opportunity for us. Fans who are 80 and have supported us all our life haven't had this chance, so at 22 - it would be quite lucky.

Such a shame that we are going to bottle it infront of a huge crowd, with a chance to make a few new young and spare fans for the future.

You're off your tits if you think this PNE side can over-turn a two goal deficit.

We've conceded 4 to Swindon, 2 to Coventry and 4 to Scunthorpe - all with 11 men in our last 3 home games. We set up to play away and haven't played for 10 days, so we will be rusty. If PNE score early, you'l get 4 or 5.

If we take more than 50 to Ashton Gate I will be very, very surprised.

I can't even be bothered to go to my local pub (2 minute walk) to watch it on the telly in a place devoted to the selling of alcohol. Even listening to the commentary on my laptop from the safety of my own sofa seems a bit of a mission. I have more interest in our Kent Senior Cup game against Tonbridge Angels tonight.
