It maybe is a bit soon to extend his deal before his first full season at the club but if he does sign the extension then it gives him the chance to fully implement his ideas throughout the whole club, bring the players he wants in and give him time to work with them, and also maybe instil one or two longer term ideas. Let's see.

Yeah, it could work both ways: it is a bit of risk, especially if it all goes tits up next season and he gets sacked that's a lot of compensation to pay, but, if it goes brilliantly for the next couple of seasons and a world class team approach him, they could well end up having to pay you a lot of money. As you say, lets see.

It seems a bit premature but I suppose it can't hurt.

This is officially now 'Liverpool's year'. Especially after beating Tranmere in a friendly WITH RODGERS' TEAM.

I want us all to get behind the manager. We have him long term. We know his pedigree and what he brings to the party.
What I don't want to see next season: No throwing our toys out the pram, should we experience a dip during the season.
No unrealistic expectations.
No wild proclamations "poor manager" one week, "great manager" the next.

It's Klopp's first full season. Lets let a Liverpool manager breathe for once.

It's Klopp's first full season. Lets let a Liverpool manager breathe for once.

Firstly, I like Kloppo since his days at Mainz 05 then at Borussia and now at Liverpool. He's one of those coaches who can really get the best out of the players and he's one with a vision.
But I don't understand this contract extension "hectic" so soon. OK, this long time contract brings security for the coach, his staff and the whole club (when Liverpool fails to the expectations than this long term contract is void soon in this business. But I don't think that the Reds fail in the new season (at least I don't hope it). In Germany we are always informed about the ongoings at Anfield. Last season I've watched so many Reds game like never before (mostly via stream).

I wish the Reds all the best and, of course, Kloppo, too.
Football Fans in Germany have a whole lot of respect for this football club and I dare say that it is the most loved one of the PL clubs here in Germany.
The Europa League match between the Reds and Dortmund was simply awesome. I was at Dortmund and when both Fans sang "You'll never walk alone" together I have to admit, there were some tears in my eyes (and that was not due to the dust :D ). That's was a great day for real football fans (and the return leg, too, of course). Of course I was a bit dissapointed that Borussia lost in the return leg after a 3-1 lead but hey, that's football and that's why we love this game. And losing against Liverpool is easier to bear for a German Football Fan than losing to an Italian side ;).

Sorry, for my long monologue (and some errors and bad grammar in my English).but I am excused because I am new here and I just want to show my respect for LFC and Kloppo.

One last remark and a view into the Futture (and I know that the English people can take a litte bit of friendly mocking) :
Jogi Löw will resign as Bundestrainer of the German Team after the World Cup 2018 and Kloppo would be one of desired successors but now with his long time contract at Liverpool he will decline the offer to become Bundestrainer.
A good decision given his record in losing Finals /i :D

All the best to the Reds for the new season with Klopp of the Kop.

Maybe I even post a similar one in a ManU thread...although I have difficulties to praise "the special one" :D But generally speaking I am outside of the ManU-Liverpool Rivalry. I respect all the PL clubs and I have nothing against ManU

Imagine the reaction if any other manager did that. Fucking cringe. "YOU JUST CANNOT HATE KLOPP". You can. He's an overrated try hard who finished 8th and has lost his last 5 finals.

I just find it strange that the guy doesn't post much in the PL section yet when he does he goes off on one regarding Liverpool!
