We too have had to move a few supporters from their seats because of this. When down like a lead balloon.

We've had the same thing, kept selling out alot of games last season including against Bolton in January in the same fixture, but don't appear to be anywhere close to selling this one out. We announce crowds on tickets sold, so will be interesting to see what the figures are.

Even Bolton haven't sold their whole allocation yet, but are close to doing so.

The 5.30 kick off IMO is the problem.
Were your tickets as expensive last season? You're charging us £32 a ticket which is obscene for third tier football.

No the prices have gone up and yourselves along with Charlton and Birmingham have been placed as category A fixtures which means you will pay £32-£35. This is due to your Hollywood owners and our owners who are also Americans looking to cash in on a game which has apparently already proved to be of popular interest.

I actually don't think our pricing overall is too bad with whats out there, but I agree that yourselfs and the other two clubs fans have been royally shafted and I will no doubt be paying a similar price in the return fixture.

I doubt we'll charge the same. When Accrington upped their prices for us last season (£5 more than anyone else) we lowered the price for the return fixture by £5.

Could be worse. I was talking to Spurs fan in town earlier, he said he managed to get tix for 3 home games last season, one of which was a Cat A, and he paid 100 notes for that one!

For the first time in 479 games we didn't start with any players who came through our academy.
Inevitable really, as Peterborough and Mansfield seen to be signing them all.

That makes a change as basically we just robbed players from burton the last few seasons, a little awkward this year like.

I thought someone was just winding me up until I saw an official screenshot. It’s scandalous and annoys me that we will sell out regardless.

Just seen we’re charging you £25.

They're picking the teams that'll sell out regardless. I get that's how categorisation works but it's an awful way to treat football fans and prices a lot out.

One of the world's most successful clubs over the last few years, or Real Madrid? It's a tough one.
Heard he refused to shake Matt Taylors hand on Sat. Think that goes back to the beef he and Barton had with Taylor and backroom staff while he was at Exeter

Indeed. Im glad we got rid of Barton and all his cronies tbf

I remember beating you 2-1 on the opening game of the season last minute and him going mad, made evan’s look an amateur.

How did he sit with your fanbase, doesn’t take a rocket scientist to guess there were quite a few opinions on the matter between fans?

Yeah some fans didnt attend matches while Barton was in charge.
The rest were pretty split I think causing loads of arguments on social media and the forums.
Ultimately we didnt get the results and tended to dominate possession (60-70%) without hardly having a shot on target.
I think Matt Taylor is getting unfairly labelled as 'boring' by Bartons fanboys, but id take boring over a massive liability like Barton. Just need performances to improve now, if they dont he will also be in trouble as they are his players now.

Yeah I wouldn't want anything to do with that bloke.

I will admit that I enjoyed his description of Steve Evans as a bin liner full of milk, but other than that he's an absolute tool.

Our home game with Peterborough on 7th September as expected is off due to International call ups.

Our home game against Northampton also off because of call-ups in our squad.

McKiernan has been called up to NI U21, Roughan the ROI U21 and I'm guessing Cadamarteri, if that deal goes through as expected, will be with England U20's. Outside chance of Duffy being with the ROI U21's but he still has a potential betting ban hanging over him and hasn't been in great form either. Hackett would probably have been called up for St Lucia if he wasn't injured.

Unsurprisingly our game with the champions elect also called off.

What needs to happen before those muppets at the EFL stop arranging games during international breaks?

Either that or don't include loan players. I'd prefer the latter and get the game done

100% shouldn't include loan players. Majority of the PL loans seem to be representing some home nation at some random Youth level.

We have two permanent players who get call ups. Touray called up for Gambia consistently and Fiorini would be called up by Scotland U21 (he'll be too old at the end of this current Euro's campaign though). Corey Addai could be close with Jamaica though, I think someone has said he will represent them.

We have a couple of loans who get u21 call ups for Scotland and ROI (Mellon and Adaramola) but they're injured so haven't been called up this time.

But loans shouldn't count IMO.

With our 3 call ups likely to continue for the rest of this season, it puts two more of our Saturday home fixtures likely to be called off and moved to midweeks - Which are Huddersfield and Mansfield.

As it stands we currently have three midweek home fixtures this side of Christmas - This is likely to be 5/6 with the above two postponements, one will likely be moved to next year.

After Christmas we currently have three midweek away games, which will likely increase due to the last international break weekend (Mansfield away) and FA Cup third round day also being the day we're away to Birmingham.

Also this side of Christmas, due to the likely International break postponments, we will only have TWO 3pm home fixtures go ahead on a Saturday afternoon before the end of the new year:

Wrexham - 28th September and Blackpool 9th November.

All our other home fixtures are midweek, we have one against Burton is a 12.30pm kick off, Boxing Day v Crawley which is a 1pm kick off and on 29th December which is a Sunday we have Cambridge - I guess you could argue the Cambridge fixture is a 3pm on a weekend.

Mad when you think about it.

For the record our call ups are:

Ethan Galbraith - Full Northern Ireland squad
Ollie O'Neill - Ireland U21 squad
Jamie Donley (On Loan from Spurs) = England U19s squad

Think we're past the point of needing to just say, you know what, international break for this level.

Gets a bit tinpot towards the end of the season, but considering we've just had a match rearranged on behalf of Northern Ireland and Sierra Leone, it's hard not to feel pretty BIG TIME.

3 is far too low a number to get games called off now there are 7 subs on the bench, should be 5 call ups at least to get a postponement, and only counting players in the first team (so no 16 year old from your youth team getting called up to play for Malta U17s). Get on with the damn games on Saturday's.

Crawley's game at Burton already off due to their call ups but we've had both keepers called up.

Only two players, would we get a postponement for that?

Wollacott for Ghana, Beach for Wales u21.

Incredible serious money being spent by Third Division sides. No one can compete with Birmingham City whoom in my opinion have assembled an amazing squad for this level and should really be odds on for promotion. We as a club have spent nigh on 1.5 million and thats just to stay up.

That will be the future now George. It will be hard for teams coming up from league 2 just to survive from now on
Wrexham, Stockport, Mansfield and Crawley might be the last set of teams that all have a chance of surviving

You would fancy Bradford, MK Dons, Doncaster and perhaps Chesterfield of having a chance of staying up but outside those 4 it will be very difficult to stay up
