Interesting tactic video from Crawley manager Scott Lindsey. Using a table top and counters he discusses the tactics used in our play off success last season.

He describes the shape we use as a 3 box 3. It is interesting but it is 'dry'.

In other news. I have direct access to the new Crawley mp. He sometimes stands with us in the terraces and has done for ten years or so.

Never buys me a beer though. Cheap b'stard. :)

It's like I'm talking to myself ???

Preston Johnson returns as chairman of Crawley. It was intermated that he left for health reasons so I'm a bit surprised but it's still the wagmi consortium so it is not really a change.

£18k for a mower ! What are they? Gold plated!

It's going to be kicking off when I can be bothered to go to a council meeting.

Got my ticket for Bolton away! Was 10 years old when we fell out of the EFL so I don't really have any memories of playing big sides in league matches. Excited!! :)

I had a half season ticket as a kid that cost £30 to watch Bolton in the Premier League. I'd go when Wrexham weren't playing.

Paid that today for my ticket to watch us play a league match there. Most here will find playing Bolton 'old' but it's been a long while since we've played sides like that in the league. I'm very excited for the day.

Birmingham's categories for pricing this season apparently. It's going to get very expensive following Wrexham away.

That's a bizarre list. Crawley and Exeter in particular.

Stockport County.
Tuesday night in December we're at Birmingham, that may have something to do with it but I presume they have other Tuesday night home games.

They've basically called us a small club there. Fuming.

That's not a genuine list, surely? Charlton in 'C' and Crawley in 'B'?!

Could be a case of what you have to provide and how to make some money back.

Frinstance, Charlton take 2,000 need so many catering points, security and so forth. So it will cost X amount. Crawley take 500 but the catering points and so forth are not a quarter of the amount (maybe 2 instead of 3) so charge more to claw back some of the outlay.

Obviously, it could be because we're so massive!

It's from the mascot packages on their site apparently.

Guess that might explain it a bit better. Mascots for our game might get the chance to meet a celebrity so there's that added incentive for some. It's also on TV and you can bet Birmingham v Wrexham is getting bigger viewership than the majority of L1 matches this season.

Hoping the categories aren't across tickets too but I wouldn't be surprised if we're top bracket.

Of course we'll be the biggest bracket, mainly due to the media love in with the American ownership on both sides. Quite frankly it's tiresome and a bit boring.

Three of our games moved to 12:30pm KO times for Sky coverage - Charlton/Reading at home and also Exeter away, which is pretty mental considering the journey time down there.

We’ve had games against the giants Birmingham and Wrexham both moved to 12.30 KO’s. Can’t believe sky have chose us at Wrexham again after last years fucking snooze off.

Our derby against Peterborough moved to a Monday night at 8pm for fuck sake. At least keep a game like that at the weekend. I’ll struggle to get there for that and a fair few of my group will too. c***.

And Burton away in January also on Sky at 12:30. Ffs a good trip nearly ruined, at least it’s close.

Our home game v Brum has been moved to 20:30 on a Monday night.

Well, that won't be our biggest crowds of the season anymore.

Fans always are the loser. Sky don't give a shit and neither do the majority of clubs who voted to take their money

I shouldn't worry, ours will be called off for call ups, so you have the delights of us on a Tuesday night
