They’re gonna get around half that at the Abbey. It’s gonna be fantastic this season pissing off so many away followings.
We only offer 1100 at the moment, and Stockport around 900 (it was last season when we rocked up).

If we could get away with it we would definitely considerably cut the 1800 allocation because we are going to be maxed out in the home ends next season.

We flit between 1,100 and 1,800 for the away allocation but we generally give the latter to local visiting fans, presumably on police advice and the general logistics of it.

We give about 1600-1700 depending how many sardines we can fit on the terrace.
What usually happens is a club brings about a 1000 - tells everyone they filled the away end, then the club does not produce statistics on how many visitors there were and therefore no one can prove or disprove.

The American owners at Birmingham wanted a game in the USA allegedly.

Horrendous, relegate them.

Sadly this feels inevitable at some point. I'm glad the EFL rejected it. This has been considered with no thought for the fans. Given it was discussed and proposed pre fixture release, hypothetically, this could have been the final game of the season with Birmingham needing a win to go up. The fans that had attended every game this season would have had to miss the game whilst it was played in a random American city - presumably full of US based Wrexham followers.

Glad this has been rejected but do think we'd of said no anyway. As much work that we've done to build a fanbase in the US, Rob and Ryan do seem to understand the traditions of football in this country and the local ethos surrounding most EFL clubs.
We play in the US preseason anyway

You'd have thought Birmingham would get the nod from Wrexham before suggesting it? Bit daft if they didn't have an acceptance from their opponents!

Concerning stuff. Statement needed. Won't hold my breath.
No chance is there, Didn't do one about the FA Cup replays, Keeper who died last week. One of the only things I've been disappointed in with this ownership is the silence on things that matter

Surely they had agreement from Wrexham otherwise it's a non starter

Jeez...the knee jerk reactions to this 'news' has been unreal. These two have bent over backwards to keep everything traditional and maintaining the integrity of the club....

Didnt Wrexham have a ticket allocation specifically for 'international fans' last season?

I'm probably the only one but it always seems counter productive to hit a club with fines when they have financial difficulties.

Having trouble with your bills? Have another one to help you through the problems.

We still have, and it works out as 75 for the whole ground. And when we don't sell them all, they get back for redistribution.

I agree with Casey tbf, when you're already struggling, why potentially financially a crippled club? Sanctions could be placed instead of like a reduced wage budget of something like 10% for a year.

It should be an incentive for you not to cheat. Questions should always be asked from fans in regards to where the money is coming from

I believe your club got away with only paying 1% of your bills not that long ago so glass houses and all that...no high horse here. We got away with only paying 25% of ours.

I just think transfer bans and points deductions would be better for smaller clubs. A definite punishment, everyone knows why but less chance of pushing the club into administration.
