We seem to be surviving without Cooper just fine at the moment but Burton showed last night why he is our number two. I cannot see us keeping many clean sheets up until the end of the season so we are going to have to rely on outscoring our opponents. Should make for an interesting finish either way

What you need to do is concentrate on the League, put the kids out next Tuesday and forget about a trip to Wembley.
Oh wait actually… I’m torn on this because it affects us in both comps :dk:

I think Plymouth and Wednesday are nearly out of our reach, they'd have to lose 2 or 3 on the bounce and us win them, which i can't see happening, but you keep the faith and see what happens

I think that even with the distraction, your play off spot should be secure mate
Ha. Just wish we had started the season like this but I’d have taken playoffs before the season began tbf. And if we go into the playoffs playing like this I think we’d have a decent chance in them too but it’s definitely a lottery.

This was the table this time last year, impressive improvement by Bolton and Plymouth, shows how much of a drop off Ipswich have had in the last couple of months too.

Hate the third tier a little bit more every time we end up here.

Interestingly everyone assumes 40 points for safety won't be enough this year but the current fourth bottom side has 2 less points than Morecambe did (all be it a game more played).

So Jevani Brown was due to attend the court today but his case was adjourned to 9th March. Seems like there were admin shortages meaning the initial hearing couldn’t happen!!

So, basically, he’ll probably not play again this season as by the time things are concluded it’ll be the end of the season. It’s really fucked us.

We had 2 charged retrospectively from the MK Dons game who sent in their own footage to the FA. The cnuts
It only benefits the rival teams as all bans tend to

MK's pitch is on itv4. Its pretty poor isn't it?
I've actually been surprised how bad the pitches have been in this league.

Our pitch has been pretty much perfect all season but the cold snap we had where the frost covers were on for pretty much two weeks has made it look fairly bad. Apparently it's playing much better than it's currently looking, it's an aesthetic thing rather than grass coverage but they've got some work programmed in after the Posh game in three games time.

Watched the England game last night and have to agree with the manager, the pitch was not the best, certainly not what should be expected for an international game.

Regardless of the condition of the pitch, her team were excellent and found a way to beat an opponent who had clearly come to defend.

I would of thought that the quality of the pitch would have suited the quality of the football personally.

Blimey, the replies to that are positively knuckle dragging.
As are some on here
I'll be honest I enjoyed the euros last summer but in general I struggle to watch women's football, if that makes me a knuckle dragger then guilty as charged.

I’ve got into women’s football more over the last 12 months or so, my wife is really into it and therefore I’m seeing more and getting used to the players etc. The quality is improving which is making it more watchable, tactically teams are getting smarter. And with Lauren James coming in, there is a genuine star there who is pretty spectacular to watch.

We’re going to the Ricoh on Sunday for England v Italy and we’ve got tickets for the FA Cup final too. Really looking forward to both. For balance I’m also going to England men v Ukraine next month with a mate.

The standard has improved dramatically to be fair bar the keepers. I wish them well and hope the game grows as it is but it isn't for me.

Sadly I have to agree with you...it is depressing how negative some men are about women's football, most won't have watched any at all and just seem to have an issue with women doing anything and being good at it.

I've been following the fortunes of the England women's team for about a decade, in that time the quality has increased massively, winning the Euro's in the summer was the result of a lot of hard work by a significant number of people, players, coaches and those who put in hours of work behind the scenes to promote the game.

I will admit that so far I have only been to one game, watching FGR Women play a Women's FA Cup match earlier in the season...it was probably the most fun I have had at a game this season...which probably doesn't come as a great surprise. The turn out was pretty decent, around 400, the atmosphere friendly and inclusive, the quality of football wasn't bad either, will definitely go and watch them again sometime.

As for the game last night...reckon Lauren James is going to be an absolute star, what a performance.
