It's more a case of getting Freeman for a rumoured £750k ish, Korey Smith in a swap plus some cash, Luke Ayling in a similar deal, Wilbraham on a free. Not really, players to depart last summer: Stephen Pearson, Marvin Elliott, Sam Baldock, Louis Carey, Liam Fontaine, Brendan Moloney, Liam Kelly, all would have been on championship wages more than likely, the players we have signed this summer won't be so we've actually decreased our wages.

It's funny that it's even an argument to be honest, it's genuinely a fact that your players earn a lot - and it doesn't even really mean anything, no-one complains about it, they just state it and dummies get spat out all over the place.

It's just annoying that the same people bring it up over and over and over and over (you get the point) again.

Yes they probably do earn more than some other players in this division, no they probablŷ aren't the highest earners in the division.
