2 from 3 now?
Certainly not yet. As mentioned, games in hand need to be won plus all 4 have yet to play each other. PNE have certainly made it tough on themselves but are still in the mix for automatic promotion IMHO but cannot afford too many slip ups.

I reckon! Ten points clear if we win our game in hand. They'd have to go in one hell of a run or we'd need to stutter quite badly! Two winnable home games and failure to do so. Think confidence could be knocked quite badly!
We have already thrown away a 10 point gap this season, plus over 20 games left, so far too early to call it 2 from 3 imo

Not giving up until we can't do it mathematically.

I doubt very much if Bradford, Vale and maybe others have written themselves off, either.:box:

That looks harsher than the reality as it suggests we slumped somewhat.

It's only one game really, which was the defeat to Swindon. If we had won that instead of losing, and if we win our game in hand, the gap would be 9 points.

Banjo will fire Notts up via the play offs. After all, no Bajner - no promotion party

If we win every remaining game this season we'll win the league.

True story.

Wouldn't it come down to goal difference if we won every game bar the Swindon game.....

Well that's the jam well and truly removed from my doughnut.

Or custard. Custard doughnuts are ace.

I think Robinson is a quality manager but he doesn't half talk some shit sometimes
“I’d rather go top in the last weekend in April. But everyone told us we were relegation fodder, and now if we win the next two, we go top. I’m really proud of the players.”

Out of all the Managers in the League Robinson is the one I dislike the most. To me it sounds like he is really bothered that us and Swindon are top 2 and he is jealous and has already made cheap shots about us on a few occasions this season.

MK, Swindon? Pah.
Enjoy your couple of weeks at the top. The rightful leaders will soon re assume our position! :£
That should get a reaction. :fish:

Robinson is a media whore imo, what's he ever done to get the attention he gets? The square root of fook all!!

He has done a lot considering his age - plenty of impressive results and got us playing good football, the only thing he has not done is the most important - got us over the line for promotion, something which he really should this year. Time will tell how good of a manager he can be but IMO he needs to get us up this season, this is our 7th consecutive season in this league and I feel Oldhamish.

I think he has done well for MK Dons and has them playing great stuff too but I wouldnt want him at City.
Mark Cooper however for the Swindlers is very impressive.

He's a fucking cockwomble

We are now in this thread, not because of our team, or because of our form or league position - but because Bajner demands it.

How come loads of posts have disappeared? Been a real bitch trying to connect lately.

Anyway, our squad has jetted out to Tenerife for a spot of warm weather training.

Looks like all our rivals have got there wish granted Australia and Iraq throughout to the Semi Finals of the Asia Cup so with a 3rd/4th play off both Luongo and Kasim will be unavailable for Sheff Utd. Although the rest of the team are being treated to a week away in Tenerife for warm weather training with no game this weekend.

We need to beat Gillingham away this weekend.

Do that, along with our game(s) in hand against Barnsley & Rochdale, and we'll be nicely placed again after a torrid run both on & off the pitch.

I don't get this "warm weather training" as they come back to play in the cold... Surely it woul feel colder as they get use to the hi weather?

Agreed. I can't see how it could possibly benefit the team, other than giving them a little bit of a break.
