We understand it has not met Fulham's valuation and talks between the clubs over a deal remain ongoing.

Very good, for me Ryan is the best centre midfield player we've produced for around 30 years.

Every time he's come up against higher division opposition, be that Premiership or Championship, in the last couple of years he's looked as good as anyone on the pitch, and that includes the game against Chelsea last season. A full recording of that game is on youtube if you want to see what Ginger Pirlo is all about.

I expect him to make the step up to the Championship without breaking sweat.

His only weakness, which may be more down to how Mellon uses him that his abilities, is in terms of goal scoring, he scores very few. The rest of his game is top quality.

Not a done deal yet, but too many noises coming from generally reliable sources for there to be nothing in this.

Ajose was awful for us. Came back from Swindon and scored a few but on the whole, a waste of 300k. How we managed to convince Leeds to buy him is a miracle.
