Agreed, but he's only 18 and the defending isn't the part of his game that made him so oustanding. He's in his first pro season, he will get his arse handed to him a few times I'd suspect. Virtually every other part of his game is superb though. Someone will be willing to part with a big fee for him, given his age, potential, currenty ability and now reputation.

I can't get into Sawyers, he frustrates me too much for someone with such massive talent. I've never seen a better player technically, that can be so good and literally destroy teams with 1 or 2 touches. Unfortunately, his form dips in and out, when he's of, he's a total passenger, when he's on, he can olbiterate teams.
He is not very good at throw ins:bg:

Miles Storey leaves Swindon to sign for Europa League Aberdeen. Personally thought he was never given much of a chance at Swindon and didn't suit the system we play. Rumour has it we receive 200k from Aberdeen as development compensation which, if true, is a lovely bit of business!

Very very very gutted we've lost Yiadom - he'll be a fan favourite in no time. Gives 110% every game.

Young striker Ashley Nadesan to Fleetwood confirmed from Horley Town.

Considering Millwall reportidly offered him a contract, and he's been on trial at various Champ and PL clubs, I'd say that's a coup for Fleetwood.

99 goals in 2 seasons for Ashley Nadeson, sounds like this could be the next Vardy/Austin.

Stefan Payne to Barnsley.

He may have improved drastically, but he could barely earn a start for us in League Two and generally looked lightweight and disinterested.

Very surprised at that.

Hope it works out for him but he scored something like 2 in 27 for us in League 2.

I liked Payne but he isn't a football league player, let alone possibly a Championship one!

Their business in that league has reaped rewards, though. Scowen, Hourihane, Winnall, Mawson: all annoyingly shrewd acquisitions.

Centre back Ashley Eastham from Rochdale to Fleetwood.
Wish him.well. He's from Blackpool, and I suspect you offered better terms than we did.

Good player; good bloke; good luck to him...

Both of those would be cracking signings for Shrewsbury, definitely improve their front line. Novak is definitely a 12-15 goal man at this level.

If the Sloppies are in for Novak, I'd want us to be looking at him too. Especially given his locality and the fact we will have some extra cash to play with from Bradshaw/Henry.

Olly Lancashire signed for Shrewsbury on a 2 yr deal. Was offered a new contract at dale but opted for a change of scenery. Can't be any worse than what we had last season surely?

Dunno who you had last.season. Lancashire was pretty good in L2, but found out a bit in L1. Caught out a couple of times over-playing it in defence when Row Z would have been the sensible option. Overall, has been an asset to us in his 3 years here. Good luck to him.

The Cods have signed the better of the two centre halves to leave us today in Eastham, though.
