Granted he has a mistake in him, and he is susceptible to long range shots, but he's good for this level, quick at starting counter attacks and organises his defence well.

Think we only lost 5 league games with him in net over the course of his time here.

Hoping this Jake Kean is an upgrade though, and he had a solid debut.

They're paying us a fee for him, believe it or not.

I assume they'll offer him a tidy wage as he's one of our highest earners and I can't imagine him dropping a league with a huge cut but there's no way we'll put anything towards it.

I think he still is but he's not fully developed yet. IIRC he was recalled by Wednesday from Plymouth last year and scored like straight away for them and started getting in their first team. With May signing and others being ahead of him in the pecking order I don't think he's played often this year.

He did his ligaments in a preseason game which all but ruled him out of the first half of the season so he needs games to get back to where he was last season, good player.

Murphy was a decent player in a fairly dire Daggers team last season, then i seem to think he got injured.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets on. I wouldn't have minded seeing him with us.
