Oztumer? Midget fella from Dulwich hamlet? Neat and tidy player but not suited to the third tier of English football.
Don't know about that.

There were a few good little 'uns in League 1 last year. Dave Perkins at Wigan, Jack Payne at Southend, Jamie Allen for Dale. All midfielders, like Otzumer.

As long as the Saddlers don't play him at centre back, he'll be fine...

But can they do it on a cold and rainy Tuesday night in Stoke?

Paul McGinn a right-back (i think), has signed from Dundee.

I much prefer it when we make signings and they aren't headline news.

To be honestlly, we've quietly (except for Ched 'Maybe a convicted rapist we're not sure yet' Evans pulled together some decent signings and plugged some gaps. One or two more maybe and we might be ready. I think I still might feel more comfortable if we signed another centre back because Evatt might not survive another season, and a cultured left winger. How are we standing at the minute tho?

Legend Lee

McGinn - Hird - Evo / Raglan - Jones

Bolly - O'Neill / Nolan / Angel - O'Shea - a new guy / O'Shea / O'Neil? (any 4 or 5 depending on formation)

Evans / Dennis (one or other, depending)

Then you've got 3 of Evans, Dennis, SEB and Simons on the bench. Not bad options to have. Couple more signings and I think the divine lights of mid table obscurity might be ours

One of the best players in the division when he wants to be. I know he has had his problems but I would love to see him back at Boundary park.

We are rumoured to be on the verge of signing Gabriel Zakuani after he was released from Posh. No idea if he is still decent or not.

Got the low down from the resident fen dweller on here when it was first mentioned to me he was the defender a while back back. Premier league defender, Sunday league footballer were his words I think. Page has told him to focus on defending and not try to be pretty about it so it sounds like we've got a good signing.

2 Monaco loanees now confirmed as agreed by AS Monaco by Bruno subject to players agreeing to the move...

1 winger and 1 striker, 1 of which is a full international...

9 players offered contracts have agreed expected to arrive next week, 2 likely to be Kiko and Tavares from Vitoria (Tavares was linked to Sunderland a few seasons back) interesting few weeks ahead. Now Page has gone Smurf has ditched cutting the budget and we will now have a £2,500,000 budget in place (ex coaching staff and loanees).

Thats fine with me then. Just give it simple to John-Joe or concrete Rod. Just need to start addressing matters further up the pitch now.

After the goings on at Leeds, Charlton, Orient etc. be careful Vale.
I know you don't have a foreign owner but this could all go horribly wrong.

Could do if they flop but at least it will be fun finding out rather than the same old boredom. If it does come off though it would be mint!

That's fair enough.
Will be interesting.

Good move for mcglashan never expected him to get another league one club.

He can be excellent on his day, fast as hell but infuriating due to his lack of end product

Your chairman looks like he's got that Snapchat filter that turns your mouth upside down constantly trained on his face.

McGlashan is more than capable of being effective in a League One side, but he just never had a hope last season when we played a certain way that really didn't allow for wingers. I've read some stuff that suggests Southend fans see him as a bit of a dickhead with regards to diving etc. (which, by the way was also my preconception when we signed him), but I have to say it was pretty rare to see him go to ground easily. He won us a lot of penalties and free kicks certainly, but that's because he's just stupidly fast.
