Tom Hately, Craig Slater, Andy Little and Kelly Roos on trial.

Hately has been playing in Poland for the last two year - inc in the Europa league.

Slater, seemingly, is highly rated by Kilmarnock fans. 22 year old midfielder who has turned down a new deal.

Least impressive is Little, hasn't done anything since scoring shit loads for Rangers in the third division.

Roos.....god knows.

Riveting.

It's the manager that makes me think Vale seem a decent bet to go down, not necessarily the players.

You being someone who thinks Jim Gannon is a god?

I don't think I will read too much into your judgement when it comes to football managers

Tbf, Thomas should be a decent signing at L1 level from what I saw of him last year. I agree there is no profit in him and he is likely to be a big wage.

We were interested in Ribeiro a couple of season back but the fella is made of glass. Every club at this level is recruiting mainly freebies and out of contract players - it's the wages that can really fuck a club up.

Cant see why Uncle Firoz would want to stop raking in £500,000 pa on the rent by selling the ground.
Ribeiro played 75 or so games for us over the past two seasons, so his fitness is fine.

I expect he will be a success at Oxford

Likewise to you. Gannon is one of the most qualified managers outside the Prem, and has done well everywhere he's been until you lot forced him out. You'd be in the Championship now if you kept him.

Plus it's not really my judgement, that Ribeiro doesn't sound great if you read his wiki.

Oxford spent 5 years in the conference in that period, something Rotherham have never done.

That fact alone trumps every fact you've just spouted, your ground only has 3 sides too.

If you want to talk attendances, Oxford highest ever average is 11,637 and Rotherham's is 18,770.

You averaged 18,770 in nineteen fifty fucking two!!!!! What exactly have Rotherham United done in the 64 years since then? If we're playing top trumps, we played your neighbours from Barnsley in the much maligned JPT in April. We took 35,000 fans to the game, more than all of the six play off finalists apart from Sheffield Wednesday. Have you ever done that?

I have no feelings at all about Rotherham (which probably tells me something) but you seem to have some sort of problem with either Oxford United, Joe Skarz (has he shagged your missus or something?) or reality in general.

Thought you were signing Le Fondre and similar calibre?

The Rotherham fan posts general shite for attention Eric. He's a real fucking nuisance that just won't go away, like dog shit on the bottom of your shoes.

My Cov mate who is probably going to the game with me said the same.

I suppose thinking back to our dear old David Duke who the majority of town fans castigated for the whole time he played for us, and he played over 200 games for us!!

I noticed that Thomas was taken on loan by Liverpool when he was 17 so they must have seen something about him then. The worry is that it does sound like he's gone backwards a bit. Unfortunately you have to take the Coventry fans word for it as they have seen him play but i'm confident that he cannot be any worse than bloody Anton Rodgers!

CT isn't nowhere as bad as people are making out. The loa to Liverpool kind of damaged his career. I still think there is a player in there somewhere and yes he is only 22.

I thought he might be one of those sort of characters. At the risk of letting him have the last say, I probably should ignore him.

Ended up a car salesman before being in the National League North...

Anton Forrester training with us with Bruno to decide on him. Highly rated before bad injuries hampered him... Striker believe he's been at Bury at some point

Well, you are renowned for your ability to avoid getting wound up in these sorts of situations.

Bristol Rovers will announce a loan signing of a striker tomorrow!
Loans? I thought they were loaded and certainly wouldn't be seen dead scrabbling around the bargain bucket.

Replacement for Taylor who isn't training with the rest of the squad

Little is properly shite.

It's not just that he's complete shite, he's also an injury prone mess who should be nowhere near professional football.

Can't play two games without pulling ot tearing something.

The influx of shite Jocks begins.

Oh, plus whoever Greg Abbott's picks as our new scout, the guy who sacked Nahki Wells off as not good enough.

Serves you right for taking our Demetriou...
We're still hopeful he might sign for us. Brown says his preference is stay down south but financials are the key factor with him...

Spot on! The minute I read your comment I hoped it would be Luke James and happily it is!

Season-long loan with a view to a permanent, which is a great move for us I think. Highly rated not so long back and was Hartlepool's main threat when he played for them on loan at The Mem back in March. A finisher, I believe, which is something that will compliment our other strikers well.

How do Posh fans rate him?

Campbell-Ryce is one of those wingers who you think as an opposing fan is going to tear your full back to pieces, but having seen him over the last few seasons, never actually does.

If Clarke can get him playing like he was a couple of seasons ago we've got a player. Happy with this :)
