I know pre-season is nothing to really go by but Poyet was awful against us when we played West Ham XI

Josh Cullen is poised to arrive on loan from West Ham today.

Played 83 mins for them last night against Juventus.

I don't wanna put a dampener on it, coz it was against the Italian champions after all, but he was out of his depth yesterday and certainly didn't pick up a MOTM award.

I couldn't care less.

We already know what he's capable of, and he is up there with the best midfielders in this league.

Describing a 20 year old academy player as 'out of his depth' versus one of the biggest and best sides in the world made me chuckle. I can't comment too much on yesterday's Juve game but I can on the few months he was here last season where he turned our season around, a class act and one of the best signings we could've made

Now confirmed on loan until January

Could be a good addition for you that, was very highly rated at Northampton just think he moved to Newcastle a little too early.

Needs a proper run as a starter. When he was with us we would often play just one up top and that would be Marc Richards so Ivan would often come of the bench. Has a good leap on him and has good technique but isnt a predator type, often used as more of a target man type for us. Definitely has ability though, think L1 is currently his level.

Supposedly closing in on a deal for highly rated Walsall youngster Rico Henry. As I said in the Championship section, would be a strange move given the interest from PL clubs. Very highly rated, could probably do better.

I did note that and I only mentioned it coz a) I watched the game yesterday afternoon and b) Finley made a point of saying he was MOTM and he bloody well wasn't. Sorry if correcting misinformation is not to the liking of a select band of apparently not-sensitive-not-at-all-actually-completely-secure-no-inferiority-complex-to-be-seen Bradford fans on here.

We signed someone from West Ham today too, unsure over his marquee credentials though

If he's anything like Cullen or Burke who we had last year then yes.

Cullen's a great addition, an extremely good midfielder at this level. Desperately need a decent striker to round the squad off nicely.

Think it's about time we made a team of players Joe has claimed Coventry are linked too, yet they haven't signed.

GK:

RB: Kevin Long
CB: Kelvin Wilson
CB: David Wheater
LB: Lewis Page

RM: Daniel Agyei
CM: Scott Wooton
CM: Reece Brown
LM:Jack McBean

ST: Tom Pope
ST: Caolan Lavery

If they were able to find a goalkeeper they would probably beat Coventry too

Swindon have enquired about Carl Winchester. The potential is there but the attitude and effort isn't. He didn't even make our squad on Saturday.

I think a change of scenery could do him good, there was times in the Lee Johnson era he was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch. I reckon this one could come back to bite us on the arse.

WELL THEN

Page has followed us on twitter so that's been confirmed essentially. #Marquee

McBean was at the Swindon game so that's been confirmed. #Marquee

The rest are shit and we didn't want them anyway.

Interesting. What sort of midfielder is he?

Am I missing something here?

With regards to Cullen not being MOTM, is that your opinion or do you genuinely believe that?

I'm pretty sure that it has been well documented that Cullen was indeed, MOTM against Juve on Sunday?

I couldn't care less if he wasn't, I'm just saying - we know enough about him to care not one bit less if he wasn't.

More of a creative player. Very clever on the ball with nice touches and turns. Has a good footballing brain but needs to use it more.
