If you know 10% of what he does then he knows a lot more than you do. :ffs:

Thanks for that. How likely do you think it is that a Bristol City fan with a sky sports pass that "doesn't give a fuck" about Oxford will know ten times as much about the manager?:ffs:

Yes, I have a Sky Sports subscription and watch football league games, surprisingly....

As Bobbin' says, the fact you could name five non-Oxford players says a lot about the amount of football you watch, and also suggests that you have no idea about Wigan either so you're not in a position to comment.

I'm surprised you're so offended mucker; manager in doing well and getting poached by a bigger club shocker.

So someone other than Wigan has approached him then?
Give over

Meaning what exactly?

Obviously not you, too busy writing blog posts about whether Dulwich Hamlet should switch to a three man midfield to think through what you read on here.

Bit harsh to say he flopped. He had a season with Luton and got released after being accused of assault (later cleared of all charges). The guy clearly scores goals, and that seems to have been your big issue this season so it seems like a decent fit.

Luton fans aren't exactly crying for him back, regardless of the off the field issues.

I've seen him play a few times as he's signed for Stamford about 4 different times and they're very local to here. Didn't impress huge amounts. Might be in his peak now but a 28 year old striker who scored once in a season at football league level doesn't seem like a great signing.

Have you beaten them seven times in a row then?
Now, now. You haven't beaten us 7 times in a row either. I see you conveniently forget that one we beat you on pens.

You're presently on one in a row.

Shaq Coulthirst transfer listed by Peterborough. Seem to remember their chairman boasting about beating us to his signing last January. Sounds like we dodged a bullet.

He's crap and spent half the season on loan at Mansfield.

Any guesses where Smith is going? Always very impressed with him so be good not to have to play against him next season.

No one has been linked with any substance, expect him to only go up as he's got bags of potential for a 24 year old keeper. Kicking and handling sometimes suspect but nothing a decent keeping coach couldn't sort.

That was a reserve team fixture. ;)

Well, it was the same competition (albeit different sponsor) as 2 of the games you won which you obviously count. Can't have it both ways.

Hence the smiley.

Officially though it was a reserve team fixture according to the Football League designation due to moaning B sides not wanting their players potentially missing 1st team games through suspension. We won the games that mattered in the league which was the important thing.

Fair enough. We'll chalk off those 2 JPT games, then. We stuffed those teams with fringe players.

You twist and turn like a twisty turny thing.

Anyways, the only benefit of relegation is not bending over for you to take 6 points next season. That's now Cheltenham's job!

Northampton have signed Daniel Powell who we released on a 2 year deal. Makes a lot of sense to me, as I imagine he wanted to stay local.

On his day he is unreal, but he's just sooooo inconsistent. Best of luck Powelly.

We've signed Danny Lloyd from Stockport.
Gutted he's gone but was always on the cards.

Was superb first half of the season, second half he went missing in games a lot more but the thing about DL is he can spend 89 minutes being anonymous and then go win the game for you.

Absolutely loves running at full backs, thinks nothing of taking 2-3 people on, and since he's played at this level so long he's used to getting kicked all over the place. He's also a little too eager to try and win fouls, shall we say, so he'll win you a few penalties and put 'em away too.

Can't be any worse than the crap we've got now. Hopefully he's as big as a success as Tommy Rowe was.
