He has the same agent as Bogle (Jake Speight) and it doesn't take a new manager to see that we desperately need a pacy winger so it may be true. Media says we're waiting for Rosler to make up his mind but Fleetwood say there's been no approach as of yet.

A couple of weird signings for Posh in Miller and Lloyd IMO.

It's pretty risk free with Miller. Costs nothing and he's proven at NL level so he'll always be sought after down there regardless of how he does in the FL but regardless of 40 last season, it's a big jump from NL to L1.

We had Danny Lloyd with us for half a season from Colwyn Bay and he didn't strike me as someone who'll kick on and turn into anything other than a decent PT, potentially an NL FT player. That said, his stats can't be argued with this season but again, a massive jump up. Again, though, like Miller, this season will mean he'll have suitors if it doesn't work out at Posh.

Barry Fry's been at it again with us and Lee Angol. First he was trying to convince everyone we paid a £100k loan fee and he's now upped that to £150k. Truth is, we never paid anywhere near that. Knock a nought off his figures and we're about there.

I'd hope he signs the extension offered to him, as he's clearly a decent player with bags of talent. Honestly though if he wants to move to Charlton I'd let him, his last consistent season was 13/14 and since then he's been riddled with injuries. I just hope he doesn't regret it when RD inevitably sacks Blobbo

Nathan Jones was odds on a few days ago. There is nothing it it... probably.

To put it in perspective, when his job was up for grabs, our fans wanted to make a mockery of these bookies that do manager odds. Someone wanted to put some money on a couple of message board fans getting the job (obviously the bookies hadn't a clue who he was) and they gave them 50/1 and added them to the list!

Got to say, reading through some of the names on this thread, if we get promoted, the recruitment isn't going to be easy to remain competitive.

League 1 seems to have changed a lot since we were last year.*

Yeah, Sheffield have offered him big wages which we can't compete with. Apparently we're still trying to hold onto him though. Stevens was in the EFL team of the year! Pompey let both of their contracts run down for some reason..
