They must see something in Gino Van Kessel as it is a 1 year loan with a €900k option to make it permanent according to Slavia Prague (they would lose €300k on a permanent deal). A 24 yo winger/striker apparently and his best spell was playing for Trencin in the Slovakian top flight. It is a bit random but see how he goes.

Oh, he is another random who has played in the Europa Lg (and scored twice in this case) not that means anything as Patrick Hoban scored in it as well.

MK legend. Maybe not the most technically gifted, but a dynamic, hard tackling, box-to-box midfielder with a fierce shot from distance.
We struggled to replace him, trying out a number of lesser players, until a certain Bamidele Alli was promoted from the academy.

So we've only gone and loaned in another defender, Shaun Donnellan from West Brom for 6 months, couldn't make it up .

I knew he'd struggled but didn't know he did quite so badly. There's a good player in there I'm sure, in fact I know there is because he looked way too good for L2 when we sold him. Perhaps that move to Swansea came a year or two early.

If he goes to L1 and plays regularly he will hopefully come good.

As good a goal as it was, I will wait to see how he does over the season. My caution comes from remembering Kyle Vassell's debut and that goal followed by his subsequent garbage performances.

Clubs are a bit wary I think because he would cost a lot of money and he was shite ( and I mean terribly shite) last time he was up here. Bit unfair because he was a lot younger then. I reckon he'd do ok now but I'm not sure he's worth what Barnet want for him.

I reckon it'll be a million plus. Barnet fans tell me he's on a long term contract. I think there's definitely better value available but I'm still scarred from watching him play here ( shudders)

Didn't you get a ridiculous amount for Lookman? Surprised you haven't spent much of that to get out of this awful league as I'm sure just a small percentage of that money would be all that was needed.

Around £7/8m up front.

In the last 3 years, we've probably made close to £20m in outgoing transfer fees plus we've outed some of the highest earners. Unfortunately, barely a fraction of that has been reinvested in the squad. Why? I don't know, you would have to ask our wonderful owner, or Lamby.

Totally wrong as theres some good players around in lower leagues and Championship reserves, Wyke and Reeves to name 2 were bought for relatively small fees but a team of players of this calibre would easily walk out of this league.
