I'd like Ajose here for the rest of the season to be honest. We have Eaves and Parker doing incredibly well as a partnership with both already into double figures but we could do with another as our back up is Conor Wilkinson who.....yeah....we need another.

We can but hope, really didn’t have a choice losing Butler for at least 6 weeks against Shrewsbury then Baudry for at least a month against Scunny 3 days later and finally Wright on Saturday for the rest of the season probably. We still need one more before the window shuts otherwise we are in for more of a struggle than we already are.

It’s a shame, we had a lot of hope for him when he signed from Swindon but he just didn’t seem interested at all and Bury fans have said the same thing. If Ajose is struggling with lack of interest and/or a bad attitude he’s probably best away from you’ve got going on at the minute. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop a division.

There was a rumour earlier in the season that Ajose starting fighting with Lowe after he told him to give more effort. He was then dropped for quite a while. Lowe also said at a fans forum earlier this week that a few players that have left were bad for team morale so he was glad to get rid of them. Ajose must be one of them.

Yes! We won’t win the league without him and we’ll certainly struggle next season if we scraped 2nd. We’ve got new owners coming in and according to the press Powell has said he’s happy to sign a new contract when the takeover goes through. If we sell it shows a complete lack of ambition. Not to mention that he’s a better player than Yanic who we sold for 7 million!

Scores, assists and assists the assister. Then you’ve got the psychological boost it gives Blackburn and Shrewsbury. Blackburn would almost certainly pass us, it would be about whether we could hold off Shrewsbury. Pompey press reporting us bidding 250k for Kal Naismith. Attacking midfielder which makes it even more worrying.

You see a lot more of your side than I do so can’t argue. You’ve got the best defence in the division, some quality midfielders with the likes of Grigg up top, just find it hard to believe that Powell leaving would all of a sudden make two sides better than you.

Guess we’ll see but I should think Brighton will seriously need to up their bids first.
