We're apparently after Kristian Dennis from Chesterfield,if he has a contract for next season not a hope as we don't buy players we only sign free transfers or unattached players.

Just read he has a get out clause if Chesterfield got relegated so it could happen but we're not the only team looking at him apparently.

Signed Ronan Curtis from Derry starting June 9th when the international window opens. Forward/Winger scored 7 goals already for Derry this season. Ireland U21 international fee around 100k apparently. Looks like we are going to move to a 433 next season with him and Lowe flanking Pitman

We had him all but signed on deadline day in Jan for £125k but Chesterfield pulled the plug after they couldn’t get a replacement, wouldn’t surprise me if we had another look.

Andy Cook in on a 2 year deal, 50 goals in the conference in 2 years for Tranmere. They seem to be genuinely gutted, so this could be a good move for once.

Kenneth and the rest of the Luton boys, we’ve apparently had a 500k bid for Dan Potts turned down. He any good and how much would it take to get him?

Wouldn't have thought too much more than that, he's only got a year left on his contract (which in itself was only recently triggered as an automatic renewal option).

He's a solid defender who attacks the ball in the air brilliantly for an average sized guy so scores from set pieces. Very limited going forward in open play though so depends how much attacking width you require from your full backs.

Honestly I'd probably have accepted £500k and a sell on clause personally, the fact we can reject that kind of money for a solid but unspectacular left back speaks volumes about how far we have progressed in the last couple of years.

Just signed Ed Upson from MK Dons. MK fans - what do you reckon?

On paper he looks to be a class signing, although he didn't have a great season just gone...

Didn't see enough of the crap of this season thankfully being away at uni, but I liked him. Came up with some good goals two seasons ago and I thought he had a good partnership with Gilbey before the latter got injured. Should be fairly solid in the middle for you.

BetterCallSaul isn't bothered however and he would have been to more games than me, so make of it what you will.

Thanks for that mate. To be honest your days of selling on the cheap are long gone or at least they should be on your gates.

id have sold him for £500k too. But again, says a lot about the club in the last couple of years.

People wonder how we got all this money for players... having the balls to reject offers like that.

Will be interesting to see whether his fitness holds up (I mean general fitness rather than injuries). That was one of the reasons he didn't play much last season.

Seems to have sorted it out this season, though.

For what it's worth, I think Cook will be a great success for you. Ignore his unconventional shape, because it does look like he has a belly at times (because, at times, he has!), but it's as much to do with posture as anything else.

I can understand some of the comments from his former clubs, because he was young when he was there and players can develop later. But from a Tranmere perspective, he's come on leaps and bounds in his two years here - confidence, fitness, teamwork - it's all improved.

The bloke has actually scored 75 goals in three years, because his goal from the PO Final doesn't appear to have been included in his stats, and he'd scored 24 for Barrow before he came to us.

Won Player of the Season both years he was here, which pretty much sums up what he meant to Tranmere. He's not the best public speaker, so don't base your opinion of him on his interviews - he does his talking on the pitch.

A great signing for you imo. Convinced he'll do well.

We have signed Olufela Olomola from Southampton. Was on loan at Yeovil last year. No clue if he’s any good but fingers crossed.

He was brilliant for us when he first arrived, then got injured/suspended and lost his way a bit but still a strong, powerful striker who knows where the goal is. He should do well for you.

We have been linked with Ryan Yates, was on loan at Notts County and then Scunthorpe.

Wouldnt normally post it as its essentially an Outlaws rumour (and thereby almost certainly total bollocks) but im bored.

He was probably one of the best loan players we have ever had.

I would be gutted to see him go on loan to another League 1 club. He should be playing Championship football really. Just hoping we will get him on loan again.

If he was that good then it must be a signal of intent from Luton

Are you sure you’re not confusing him with the guy leading the Giro?

We just signed attacking midfielder Louis Dennis from Bromley.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Let’s hope we have another Lowe on our hands

I Was hoping we could somehow hold on to him but Portsmouth calling was just too much. It was going to be impossible to keep him in all honesty.
You’ve got yourself a real player here. Since he joined you could instantly see the quality and he’s improved year after year, this season he was too good for this division.
He’s had an unbelievable season for us, uses both feet, has scored some absolute screamers from nowhere, bags of assists and has run rings around teams all year.
Will need to develop his defensive awareness going up to this level.
A huge loss for us, a brilliant move for him and I’m pretty sure he’ll be a favourite of yours once he’s found his feet.
