Is Wilks not a Leeds player still? Was more impressed with him than Lowe!

He’s more of a fancy few touches with a decent ping sort of player, never actually saw him enjoy a tackle and was a worse player the further back he was put on the pitch. Was very good last season playing as a number 10 but that didn’t last past September.

Fair enough, thanks. Like I say I really don't know much about him other than he's huge and a central player! My assumption was more defensive based on that, but in honesty just having a presence in midfield is a bonus. Certainly more intimidating than Mark Byrne, Dean Parrett or Callum Reilly!

We've just announced Aaron Pierre from Northampton on a 3 year deal undisclosed fee.

Very happy with that signing!! Still work to be done, but happy so far with our business.
To partner Waterfall or replace him? How did he do last season?

I wasn't sure he'd be suited to Askey.

Ladapo is a done deal for club record fee.

It will be interesting to see if he is a one season wonder like a lot of his previous clubs fans seem to think.

At first glance he just doesn't seem to be a Warne type signing, maybe Scotty was the driving force behind this one.

Best of luck to the lad, I hope he does well for us.

Ladapo's a weird one.

Spent 5 years or so bobbing around the non-league circuit doing nothing before rocking up at Kidderminster in what some thought was a dodgy deal by then manager Andy Thorn (Andy Harrier or Harrier94 will probably be able to clarify that part but was something to do with agent payments IIRC).

Left there and scored a few for Margate before getting a random move to Palace (well, I mean random as in a massive jump for someone who hadn't performed well for years but Andy Thorn was ex-Palace, so...) before doing nothing again until last season.

Three half decent seasons in his career and two of those were below Non-League South level and 15 clubs in about 8 years at his age!

Which is why most of us greens are delighted we get a player for nothing, and sell him a year later. He may score goals this season, but then again he may not.

Would be great if true, brilliant player at this level. Think there will be bigger fish than us in for him and I’m not sure if we could afford his championship wages!

Ladapo was a complete goal machine for our youth team but never looked ready to step up to men's football until he was eventually released. Maybe he's just taken a bit longer to mature.

Danny is a home bird and I really think his next club will be in the North West, talk our end is between you and the nobbers. He does have history with the nobbers but a 3 year deal (new kid and needs some security) will swing it your way. He has not had happy experiences at bigger clubs.

According to our itks we’re after him, with Tranmere and Plymouth. Think Preston have bigger fish to fry.

Ricketts has been openly honest to the press that we'll be starting the season with three centre backs. Almost certain that they'll be Pierre, Ro-Shaun Williams and Ebanks-Landell. Surely there can't be many better defences than that on paper next year?

Waterfall is probably one of the best headers of a ball I've seen since watching Salop. Scores his fair share from set pieces too! Unfortunately if he's up against a rapid striker then he'll more often than not rely on Ro-Shaun to bail him out last season. Waterfall will be back up which I'm happy with as he wasn't as bad as I expected him to be when he signed!

The less said about Askey the better.

Hope Ladapo does well at Rotherham. Good luck to him. Club record fee indicates more than 540k which I believe was your previous record. Seems a good deal all round. Hopefully if he does score a few we've got a sell on %.

He had a head of a 50p piece when he first arrived here. Always got on the end of set pieces but it just bounced off in any direction and that was one of the first things the Cowleys sorted with him and as a result, got 8 or so in their first season (I think both our CB's did that season).

Agree r.e. pace. I said at the time he'd get found out if he became isolated in a more expansive formation like Askey usually played. He was well protected here so he wasn't exposed.

Watch out for Lowe trying to bring Jordan Rossiter in, just released from Rangers and was bloody brilliant at Gigg last season. man of the Match almost every game.

Matt Done signs on for another two years. Decent option up front; hope we've seen the last of him filling in at left back, though...

Any good though? I'm hearing mixed reviews from MK fans.
He was a bit of a cult hero but mainly because of his Instagram page. Never truly got to grips with the pace of the game during his time with us. That was showing signs of getting better, but he was always prone to taking too much time on the ball in dangerous areas and trying a ridiculous threaded throughball when under pressure.

Lots of technical ability but sometimes he’ll drive you mad. Curious signing for Evans.

Callum Woods signs for Tranmere.

Solid full back on either side if he can stay injury free, he definitely won't stay injury free though. Did really well for us at centre back too for a couple of months.

I like the guy but I think his legs are done, Bradford squeezed 5 starts out of him.

Looked good at that level when fit, but on his second start he pulled up and wasn't fit until the last few games of the season again. Complete waste of a wage I'm afraid.

We were in for him in January on loan (think I PM'd SF about him), but we pulled the plug apparently because of his fitness.

It's very unusual for Cowley to turn his back on a player due to injuries because we've got a very good track record of getting injured/injury prone players playing consistently in the last 3 years - we've probably signed 6 or 7 of them who've ended up playing a large parts in our season.

Young keeper Brad Wade signs a 3 year deal. Might actually get to make his debut some time before 2023...

We've signed Corey Blackett-Taylor, a youngster who was on loan at Walsall last year from Villa. Bit of a punt, but looks like he has potential.

Time for the Cowley Saints to abandon Sincil Bank and finally find the cure for Cancer.

We have also signed Kieran Morris and Sid Nelson today who are great additions having seen them on loan last season.

4 signings in a day... Starting to have a squad to assemble now!
