What a signing for Bury. Will without doubt score against us.

We've just signed Bobby Olejnik.

What's he like, Peterborough fans?

Actually a good keeper. Was outstanding in our relegation campaign and strong in our League One playoff failure season too. For whatever reason Ferguson went with Alnwick this year and Bobby was frozen out. I wouldn't have minded having him back to be honest.

He'll do well for you. Probably the best keeper in that League next season.

This isn't a WUM at all...

Bury are gonna be fucked in a few years. Clarke will be earning an absolute packet, and a fucking 3yr deal?

Crikey.

According to our local journalists, we were after Peter Clarke before he signed for Bury. Not surprising at all. Better money, better location, more ambitious club. No brainer for him.

Negotiations with BCFC for James Hanson dragging out because of the takeover business over there. Our CEO set to meet up with Bradford bigwigs in Portugal (no, I don't know) to discuss the matter.

I really couldn't give a fuck how this pans out. I know we need a big man to give us another option, but I'd honestly rather see Gregory and O'Brien or Philpot, or even Marquis, as out front two next season than an ageing bruiser who is probably playing at his natural level. Think Harris might be planning to play O'Brien in an attacking midfield position, though, which obviously everyone on here is interested to know...

Portugal as the Football League AGM is being held over there.

Not sure if you're on a wind up re Hanson - he's only 27, not sure you can really call that ageing? Whilst he certainly isn't what you'd call top drawer, many of us think he could do a job for some Championship clubs with some better quality players around him, rather than in what last season was generally a hard working team but not overly creative.

He's given higher league/top level defenders nightmares whenever we've played them - for the sort of job you'd have him in the team for, you'll struggle to find anyone better to play at this level IMO.

Cracking signing albeit does seem financially worrying for them... I would've taken him on loan this season just gone

What's Leon like these days? been a good few years now since he was in a Southend shirt. I liked him here, had a good scoring record and for me with a striker that is all that matters - was pretty lazy but would suddenly just score. Looking at his record this certainly seems to be his level, very poor return in the division above.

I make Bury his 16th club, outside looking in you'd say a 3 year contract might not be such a great idea, should get a sweep going as to who they'll loan him to next season.

Can see Bury doing very well this season, although in the long-term...this isn't going to end well is it?

No doubt a very good signing but a 3 year and no doubt on big money seems foolish. Might not be long before the shakers are shaking them buckets again. No sympathy for them if it happens again, they seem to have a big win or bust mentality at Gigg Lane.

If they can afford him, why not, he's got goals in him. Don't expect him to chase many lost causes though

I doubt we'll take him now. We've got Clarke to partner Cameron and young lad for backup and we can always use the loan market in the future.

Clarke on a year or two deal would be good business but he's someone who needs to be chasing a contract to perform, otherwise he seems to turn into even more of a lazy bast. Giving him a three year deal could well be a mistake.

3 year contract is a worry, but the owners seem to have money only come to this conclusion with the signings we have made recently, securing one of the best training facilities in the country on lease and the money the club is supposedly bringing in due to sponsors.

The cash flow is better at the min is far better than it has ever been, we are now targetting European clubs coming over to the UK to play Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool and rentoing out some of our training ground to them, I know before stated that this wont cover the big losses we are making but a couple of sales like Danny Mayor and Nathan Cameron and I see us being back in proffit since Day took over (if it is him that owns us).

Struggling to come to terms with Millwall letting Stefan 'Ent' Maierhofer go. Can see Millwall joining Blackpool in League 2 soon with that kind of short-sighted decision. Maierhofer was the best scaffolding we saw in a generation at Molineux. Plus, he kept a torch in his back pocket in case the floodlights packed in.

What's the view on him at Swindon?

At times an absolute joy to watch in central midfield. He has great ball control and skills to get him out of a tight situation. He faded a bit during the middle part of the season but started and ended it very well. I would be gutted to see him go, he's a bit of a cult hero at Swindon.

Swindon have "offered" Miles Story to us, whatever that actually means.

We don't want him, he has a year left on his contract, he is from near Walsall and has been on loan with you (I think) hence the offer. Although I wouldn't be surprised if it was like me playing Football Manager and we have just offered players we don't want anymore to everyone
