Hull have bid £3 million quid for Scott Twine apparently. Hopefully that kicks off a mental bidding war!

That would be a big blow for MK Dons even after the financial compensation of the transfer fee.

Lucky escape if it’s Odubajo. Shite.
I wouldn't be happy with him but we need a lot of players, so a freebie punt like him wouldn't surprise me.

We’ll probably accept it if the add ons and sell ons are right, or knowing us that’s his release clause (Matt O’Riley went for £1.5m and he was worth triple that at least). Personally I think he’s worth at least what we got for Dele at £5m

In incoming news, Ethan Robson is doing a medical in what must be the least surprising transfer of the window. We had 2 bids turned down in January after he got recalled and he came to our player of the year awards and a few of our later season games.

Just seen Hiram Boateng has gone to Mansfield. Surprised he didn’t get a L1 club to be honest.

He was impressive last season, though current u21 England keeper is a bit of a stretch

Played in Englands 5-0 win away at Kosovo last week......will be in the next squad injury permitting

Agreed he is still young and learning his trade

Yeah we had him the year before last and he was excellent. I wish we’d gone for him again.

Supposedly a RWB failed a medical at our place last week. Either him or Moses Odubajo.
He is injury prone, dodgy knees and coming off an injury so could well have been but not sure. I’d definitely have him back on ability but it’s a bit of a risk for anyone really especially if he wants a 3 years+ deal and a fee to Fulham.

He has one cap, the other lad, from Stoke seems to be first choice.

Mansfield have probably offered him an excellent wage and it’s likely that a couple of L1 clubs have been priced out of the deal. Surely it’s only a matter of time till they get that promotion.

Three year deal probably helps too.

They're building another good team there. The owners have thrown a lot at it over the last few years, so they'll be expecting promotion this next season without a doubt.

I have concerns over Clough. He's portrayed as some sort of lower league genius but his team and tactics against us at Wembley were nuts! I would raise serious questions about a manager who played so narrowly against wing backs on a wide pitch. Big pressure on him to deliver next season.

We’ve sold Ryan Williams to Perth Glory.

I really liked Ryan. He’s a grafter and his work rate is exceptional. Evidently it’s his hometown club so understandable he’s moved home.

Clough got it wrong at Wembley, but perfect at Northampton in the semi. You can’t make up for what Hawkins did either.

We are in this position where we need to sign around 5 outfield players to make a nice squad of around 20 but they need to be players that will start and improve us and I think Boateng is a good start. Much prefer him to a Matty Longstaff considering how we play.

Great signing for you. I would have been happy for Boateng to come to us to be honest.

I presume Longstaff won't be returning? He didn't look up to much to me, a bit too pedestrian for the way you like to play.

I think next season could be the season when it finally clicks for you guys. Still got niggling doubts over Clough but he'll be given the best possible tools.

We're apparently set to confirm our first signing - Tom Bradbury (I think that's his name) from Halifax is the rumour. He's a centre back and that's all I know.

I think Longstaff will end up in L1. No good for team that thrives off a high press, but he did do well via goals and assist but it disrupted our midfield too much to fit him in.

Hopefully it is a fee that covers his costs to us so far. I hope it goes well for him as he never gave less than 100%.

Northern Ireland’s new star full back, Connor Bradley close to joining for the season from Liverpool.

I jest with the “star”, but seriously, the lad looked capable when I watched them last week and is held in high regard by those at Liverpool.

Stockport County.
Callum Camps Fleetwood fans? Or if there's no Fleetwood fans on here, general L1 fans who've seen him play?

Elliot Anderson the latest name linked. We have supposedly made a formal loan offer to Newcastle. That’s the sort of signing we should be making.

Brilliant player -- And if Newcastle are going to loan him out again ( Third Div side ) no reason he should'nt come back to us.

Fairly sure he’s going to Millwall although saying that I did read earlier nothing imminent and Newcastle want him in for pre-season.

Sold Theo Archibald to Orient.

Weird one because we seemed to track him for a while but he only played 12 times in two years here so we didn't really see enough of him to know whether he'd be ok in L1.
Appleton and the recruitment team have signed a few players on 3 year deals and then hardly play them.
All very strange.

Expecting Mendez Laing to join Wigan. I'm one of the few not remotely arsed
