Looks like we are hoping for a couple of signings before the deadline tonight. Will make the assumption given it’s come from a couple of journo’s now as a done deal Politic is one of them.

Looks like we're loaning a young Norwegian centre forward from a Premier League club.

And I thought Haaland was doing ok.

Panuche Camara going to Ipswich for 500k. Might leave us in the market for a midfielder. No great loss, hasn’t featured this season and out of contract at the end of the season. Good player though.
We want him to stay because he's one of our main players but there is no major rush on it because he will be here next year anyway unless someone comes and gives us £27 million!

Seems like a deal that suits all parties. We get a quality player (from what little I know of him, he’s liked) to strengthen the squad. He gets a move away which he seems to want for whatever reason? You get money for someone who would be going for free anyway.

One of those moves that just makes sense for everyone.

What’s he like? Attacking midfielder isn’t he?
Would endorse what Leon said. Very good disruptor with his implausibly long legs, he makes many a tackle to nick the ball. He runs all day and has developed a turn of speed dribbling with the ball. However, when he has nicked the ball just outside our box and run forty yards with it, as he gets closer to the oppo box you’ll shout for him to pass it to one of the skill players. He does not have the killer pass, and he really should score more. He is very exuberant and you’ll love him, a real fans favourite. He does some things brilliantly, and if he could shoot and pass better he would not be in league one. I like him a lot, but we have moved from a 3 midfield to a four. Oh, he is injured, so not sure when he will actually play for you. Good business for both sides.

CB Bobby Thomas signs on loan from Burnley. I know nowt about him but a CB was a priority. Played at Barrow last season

Just throwing this out there - apropos of nothing - we're in for a loan forward and have been for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if we were in for Jephcott.

Oh, and Olayinka has been confirmed with probably the worst unveiling video in history:

One of those who claims (but has not proven) to be ITK hinted he would remain a green. Which assuming he stays in England suggests FGR.

Bloody loved Dennis last season. So glad he's back. Class player. A centre forward still needed so fingers crossed.

Definitely a box to box midfielder - best attribute is running he will go all day. He also has these Inspector Gadget extending legs that seem to come from nowhere and hook the ball off opponents, a real nightmare to play against in the centre. As Leon says he lacks a bit of composure and technical ability in the final third but that could come with time.

As a man though he is the kindest and most humble character you could come across in the world of football, which is really what endeared him to most Argyle fans. If it all goes through I'm sure you'll get that from his first interview.
Cheers. Funny enough some of our fans on Twitter were just saying how well he came across in the first interview. Did seem incredibly happy to be here and down to earth.

Harry Smith, season long loan from Leyton Orient.
Earth shattering...
I actually think he did quite well for Orient last season? 15 goals in a poor team isn’t too bad at all…

He’s the big striker isn’t he? He taunted our fans and player when Orient when 2-1 up with 3 minutes to go last season… before we scored two in injury time!

That's what was said about him by Schumacher in Jan last season. Mad how him and Jephcott where the top players touted for millions, now are being shown the door. What's happened?
Camara didn’t want to sign a new deal so the club transfer listed him. He hasn’t played at all this season, supposedly injured but I think we has frozen out considering he’s miraculously fit now.

Jephcott is a poacher, fox in the box type. Doesn’t suit our new system at all, tried playing as a 10 but didn’t work out. He’ll score goals in the right system. I guess Schumacher would rather have a target man and let Jephcott go.

Chris Maguire has had his contract cancelled.

We have also signed Matty Virtue on season long loan from Blackpool. Exactly what is needed in middle of the park!

Unusual to see a loan player move up a division. I have no idea if he’s any good though, guessing he’s more of a target man type at that height so obviously pure scoring is not the only thing that you judge a player like that on.

codaplenty Any thoughts on Dan Butterworth at all as see he was on loan at Fleetwood last season?

Got to think that is probably it for us now this evening. At least I can be confident with the current setup we won't go and do a 23:00 announcement of signing Danny Pugh or someone like that as happened last time we were in this league.
