How do people know when a player has a bad attitude or not in training?

Have you heard some stories that someones auntie told them that the person that works in the club shop overheard the canteen staff think he has a bad attitude because he didn't like their peas or is there something more in it?

Don't take it so badly mate. It's hardly a coincidence that the majority of clubs he's been at, the same problem is mentioned?

It's common knowledge he has a poor attitude and needs to grow up and fast, or his career will dwindle. Here, look at these;

"In March 2012, Mellis was sacked by Chelsea after he admitted setting off a smoke grenade and causing a full-scale evacuation at the club's Cobham Training Centre".

"In April 2012, Mellis was arrested after a fight with his girlfriend at his Cobham
home. They were admitted to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey and treated for scratches and bruises and subsequently arrested on suspicion of ABH. He was cautioned for common assault and criminal damage".

Yes, they were 3 years ago, but he's only made just over 100 appearances since 2009. He wasn't wanted by Barnsley. Oldham weren't impressed with him. Blackpool didn't want him. He's like the footballing equivalent of David Platt from Coronation Street.

Solid signing, would've liked us to sign him but not gutted we haven't. Nt sure hes a 20 goal a season striker though from what I've seen. More of a target man who will bring others into play, would've liked to see him upfront with Done.

Scored 13 for us in the Championship in an absolutely abysmal side, and he only started 21 games. Would've scored more but Baldock was on penalty duty. Technically very good, great left foot, and scored a 25 yard header for us once. We're probably the club that got the best out of him, which is ironic because the team around him was awful. Granted he hasn't done much else but he's been unfortunate with injuries and fitness

Davies got offered a reduced deal because he has only been fit to play about 60% of games since he's been here, made sense from the club, he obviously got a better deal and left, fair play to him. Not really like we got outmuscled by anyone. When he played he was our best defender but we've still got a decent defence without him.

Linked with Josh Wright from Leyton Orient.

All I know about him is he once scored a worldie for Scunthorpe against Manchester United and his brother is that knob from TOWIE.

Scored a worldie at Burnley in a 3-0 win a few seasons back, but didn't do much else for us. 'Technically gifted' without having any real guile or physical presence, so useless 95% of the time.

Mawson's signed for Barnsley. Good signing for them. Got to respect the bloke for turning down better offers in favour of first team football.

Davies has been plagued with injuries since his Tranmere days. He's the closest thing the lower leagues has to Darren Anderton.

We've recruited two new members of backroom staff.

Dave Timmins; new goalkeeping coach. 18 years of experience under his belt and aided in the development of Joe Hart, Tim Krul, Wayne Hennessey and Kieren Westwood, so he must have something? Positive and hopefully his wealth of experience will help to push Chris Neal up a notch and to really help Sam Johnson and Ryan Boot develop their undoubted potential.

John Harbin; new Performance Coach. Formerly of Plymouth Argyle, Queens Park Rangers, Oldham Athletic, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace and Swansea City, so another experienced member of staff. Also had spells at Rugby League sides Wakefield Wildcats and Oldham Roughyeds.

Hopefully both help us on and off the pitch alongside Rob Page and Paul Bodin. A plethora of experience so it bodes well.

Impressed with our signings, very impressed.

It's a shame P.Diddles will rape them of any quality they had.

He didn't play for us after Johnson left, despite being fit in the final 6 games. Doesn't take a genius to work out.

Sounds like a proper Davis signing that, hope we sign David Fox instead.

Please tell me that's the best spelling error I've ever seen, Chris?

Can't see any spelling mistakes . If you're talking about wages then apparently we've got a new wage policy (Jimmy Ryan probably excluded) . I believe Josh Morris was on £5k a week at Blackburn

We have signed Chris Stokes for a year. Not sure he's a title winning signing but we'll see over time.

Also Reda Johnson is expected to sign tomorrow with us.

Sit back, hold tight and enjoy the ride, as they say. :2thumb:

Is he really that bad? What's the situation with James?

He's not THAT bad, he's just so limited and mediocre - he has a really good game now and again to prove his worth but he's the exact epitome of Walsall's currently philosophy. Dull. Pick the ball up off the centre back, pass it 3 yards sidewards, or backwards and do absolutely NOTHING to move the game onwards/forward. Teams don't need just 1 player that does that, it's an excuse to have a negative mindset. He wouldn't be so bad if he played next to another player or 2 that directly bombed forward constantly, but he doesn't.

We are a team of 10 outfield crabs. If Bradshaw gets injured or leaves were fucked.

Doubt he'd be on 5k if he comes here, would make him one of, if not the top earner now McLean and Davies are gone.
