Agyei didnt blow anyone away for Oxford when last here though. We found that out last season players who looked really good in L2 struggled in L1
To be fair, it wasn't exactly all his fault.

He was treated abysmally by our previous manager to the point I wouldn't have been all surprised to have seen him quit football altogether. On at least one occasion he has been seen crying on a football pitch. That's far from normal.

To have seen him perform and get a move back to League One fills me with such joy given the absolute SHIT he had to put up with at OUFC. Frankly, when he played for us he actually did well given he was rarely given consistent game time and he scored some bloody good goals too along the way which are even more impressive given how woefully he was managed/treated.

Looks like Dan Agyei has signed for us.

Edit: He has signed for us on a 2 year deal.

Top quality signing this. I had him number 1 on my list of players we should look to sign for discussion on the next episode of my mate's podcast so thanks for ruining that.

Not that I thought we had a realistic chance though, not just cos he's a sarfener, he would have been a statement signing and we don't make those. Last season we had a bottom six budget for League Two and not much has changed this year, we'll be relying on nous in the transfer market to build our squad as always.

Another departure, Josh Coley to Sutton.

They paid a fee!

Good business…He was unlikely to play much so to get a fee now is decent.

So many of our fans are panicking but clearly we will be signing a lot of players in the next week or two. Judging by our business so far, I’m confident we’ll bring in good players to replace those leaving.

Was Karl Robinson genuinely that bad towards him???

Dan is a top bloke and was a credit to our club. Can't fault his effort or attitude. It actually astounds me that he was so poorly treated as I can't see why he would deserve that...

Always surprised me how good Anthony Evans was for you lot in L2 because he was abysmal for us in L1. Barely did anything of note.

Stephen Walker is on trial with us. Do any MK, Crewe or Boro fans have any insight into his ability?

Was he the lad who missed a sitter in the 1-1 draw at our place? He looked quite lively from memory but that was a big miss
Yeah that’s him. Talk about a guilt edged chance!

Didnt Burton have a really big squad last season? Have you lost many players? Seems like you're signing a lot.

I'm surprised he passed the medical - he is afflicted by psychological condition - Sudden Onset Cramp which comes on after circa 90 mins despite no evidence of any muscular fatigue whatsoever. I believe it's now known by the medical profession as Crocombe's Cramp...strangely it only happened when we were winning...

His (acting) performances in the Play-off Final and at Southampton in the Cup are legendary with us.

Lloyd Jones signs on a two year deal.

Happy with that, 2 good centre halves in 2 days after Michael Hector signed on Thursday.

A top player. The only thing that lets him down is his injuries. Always seems to pull a muscle at least once a season.

Will fit in really well here then, our treatment room is always well attended.

Young CB Sean Roughan has signed a new two year deal with us, which is positive news. He'll end up in the Championship when he leaves us, whether that's next summer or the end of his contract. Either way we'll get decent fee through compensation at the very least. He was a ROI U21 international at 18 and has developed really well over the last two seasons, starting at LB but gradually playing more games at CB.

He's better off staying with us and getting regular football at L1 than going to the Championship too quickly and will be our left sided central defender this season after the departure of Joe Walsh. He made the odd error last season (away at Bolton and Exeter as examples) but had some superb games at Derby and Wednesday so his consistency isn't quite there yet but it'll come with more games.

We're off to Spain on Sunday and apparently they'll be no transfer happenings over the next week.

Read earlier that Mason Bennett has 202 senior appearances and only completed 90 minutes three times!!

another that we were rumoured to be sniffing around but have been beaten to the punch - the only WW transfer gossip I've heard about this close season are ones where we're "interested" but then they end up signing for someone else.

I would be annoyed if Friend signed for you. A real Grecian and always imagined he would be back here at the end of his career.
Joey stated last night if Friend passes his medical next week -- He will sign him.

I don't know whether he was ever in line to come back. I guess we are sorted at left wing back. Suggestion he could play left centre back but we have Hartridge there.
I see Jevani scored last night, seems a bit early to be playing friendlies
