We had Connolly on loan from Everton about 5 years ago. We tried him at RB, CB and DM and seemed to be one of those players you couldn't nail down to a position, which was a bit surprising given he was a PL loan, and we terminated his season long loan early.

Played a lot of football since then though so he must have found his position.

Stockport County.
I think his versatility is actually why we've signed him tbh.

Our manager is back from holiday and says we may see some signings this week.

He was asked about rumours of Orsi and Liam Kelly being sold and said that was just paper talk (or twatter).

For my part, a big six figure sum for Orsi would be great business. He has only ever done it for one season in the league...obviously a decent replacement included with that.

Orsi is off to Wrexham. Crawley bringing in Cameron Jerome and Paul McCallum as replacements

I very much doubt we could afford Paul McCallum. You obviously have us mixed up with a club that has money.

I think you can compete Eastleigh for christ sake. I've got you staying up comfortably.

Stevenage paying 6 figure for a player..

Alex Revell is the second thickest footballer I’ve ever interviewed. Entertaining that Stevenage have seemingly handed him a war chest. Lovely, funny bloke, but I can’t really see him being a tactical mastermind like Fatty.

McCallum couldn’t cut it in League Two so I’d have severe reservations about him in this division. Just a head & elbows on a lamppost.

What sort of player is Orsi? Seen we're linked with him.

Will form a superb partnership with Paul Mullin which will see the Robins promoted to the second tier. Marc Leonard and Rio Adebisi to sign for Wrexham along with Timi Elsnik and Rey Manaj

Orsi would be a big gamble in league one, better players than him being released ie Wyke, Cole and Bodvarrson

would take Leonard out of those lot and maybe Mullin for the bench.........Wrexham sign those four and i think mid table would be about right next season

Played in the premiership and 80 odd caps, Cambridge would be a good fit for him. Improvement on Katchunga

Well two of those are playing in the Euros. Don't see any Bolton players playing there. Twenty quid bet for charity. Wrexham will definitely finish above Bolton? Put your money where your mouth is

Signing Josh Coburn apparently.

Cant say I know much about him.
Is that a loan? would seem like great business on a permanent, only 21.

I'd happily take a punt on him here if we had room for another striker.

We've signed Jamie Pardington as our number two GK. Looks like he was at Cheltenham last season but only made one appearance.

Our GK Coach knows him from their time at Wolves.

Speak English please. Or has that council pop and 10 pies a day eroded you?
Water is good for you, maybe you should try it instead of the Special brew.
The pies is a Wigan thing.
Not one of your better put downs

Came on 20 mins into the final game of last season.

He did well, nearly saved the penalty and had no chance with the Stevenage winner which deflected past him. Other than that, I couldn't tell you anything about him.

Nothing wrong with Special Brew. How else am I going to accept my lot in life without that elixir providing hope and temporary paralysis? Oh Mansfield have been linked with a move for Jodi Jones
