It was posted on vitals about £400k with add ons taking it to £500k for the fee so obviously a decent amount for Lasse.

Yep, Jez George said that both unlikely to play for us again.

It's more than a decent amount for a RWB in L1, a year to go on his contract and refusing to extend. Will be interesting to see where Bishop and Mandriou end up. Shame to see them both leave really but neither did enough to push us on.

Saw Mandriou linked to Notts County, no idea how true, no idea about Teddy.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Teddy Bishop end up at the abbey.

Sounds as though things are starting to move for us now.

After Conor McGrandles signing and Lasse Sorenson leaving, hopefully a couple of new signings announced by the end of the week (one of those presumably Tom Bayliss), we're in talks with a Club about a fee for an out of contract player to avoid a tribunal if possible, Danny Mandroiu and Teddy Bishop are likely to leave because their deadlines are approaching, Ethan Erhahon unsurprisingly has lots of interest in him and we're looking at the Scandinavian and South American markets.

Probably going to be a slightly higher turnover of players than we initially thought.

Hell of a deal for a L1 RWB.

Add the Cowley £1m and the Toffolo £640k and we've done fairly well out of Huddersfield in the last 4 years or so.

I can't imagine we would start the season with Waters in the squad, surely? Dalby and Bickerstaff will probably find starts hard to come by next season too.

Fingers crossed!
I can see us paying Waters up if he can't get a move. Dalby and Bickers will never get a game in League 1.
Davies probably in the same boat but will be kept because he's home grown I'd imagine.

400k seems really cheap to us but that’s just because we have become accustomed to the crazy prices in the leagues above.
The Cowleys kept us up but think they should’ve picked a more stable club than ourselves at the time for their next step after an unreal job at Lincoln.
Toffolo was quality and even though Forest got a good deal the profit we made on him roughly covers the deals you mention above.

As other Lincoln fans have said, it's a shame to see Sorensen go, especially to a fellow League 1 club, but 100% fully understand, that's football. The club gets a great fee and can reinvest, Huddersfield get a great RWB who will give absolutely everything. I wish him well. Excited with who we bring in to replace.

Demetri Mitchell has signed a new one year deal with us, which is excellent news. He’s been out since October with a knee injury but will be back in full training when the players return tomorrow.

He’ll feel like a new signing and hopefully he can perform as well as he did early last season.

We have 15 senior players signed on already so it’s great to have a strong basis to hopefully add to soon.

Josh Edwards in from Dunfermline. Don't know much about him but looks a promising talent. Would expect Tayo Edun to be surplus to requirements now which if is the case, should probably be able to find himself a club in League One

Only a year though?
Thats an early start to pre season too, I dont think we have enough players for a 5-a-side game at the minute!

Nick Tsaroulla has turned down our contract offer and joined Notts County. He wasn't on a great deal here and wanted an increase by all accounts.

One of the few players we had that I thought would definitely make the step up so he is a big loss.

Any scraps from the table we can pinch?

Surprised he hasn't kicked on since leaving us, was a really tidy footballer here.

Yeah, I suspect it’s a case that he’s not wanting to over commit and we’re just pleased to retain him. Had he not picked up the injury, he’d have gone this summer without a doubt so he’s basically using us to get a good season under his belt and then move next year.

And yeah, it is pretty early although tomorrow and Friday are ‘testing’ days before it all kicks off next week.

Caldwell also confirmed we’re set to sign someone tomorrow. Not 100% certain but its most likely RB Jack McMillan from Partick.

We’re also trying to tie Tom Carroll down to a new deal and also doing our best to get a couple of last seasons loanees back. Ryan Woods and Luke Harris would be fantastic. Just as long as it’s not Admiral Muskwe, and we’ll be laughing.

or Trolley Bus
Sadly they did away with the electric trolley buses in the late sixties, early seventies?
They were brilliant until the pole fell off the line and there was a big bang on the roof.
Should have never have got rid of them, years in front of their time.

Alan Nixon saying we’re in for Josh Magennis. Not prolific by any means and nearly 34 but plenty of Championship experience, so I’d be happy with that.

Rumour mill seems to think that we have managed to prise El Miz away from Ipswich permanently. Absolute scenes if true.

Lewis Bate signs for us. Another frugal deal by Mr Challinor.

First signing in the bag. Jack McMillan from Partick on a 2 year deal. Seems like a good player judging by Partick fans’ opinions.

Crawley sign Anthony Papalapadous (or something) from Welling Utd after his contract expired. Good to see we can splash the imaginary cash.

He started at Orient so if any Os can tell me anything about him. All I know is he is a midfielder.

He only really played in the Papa Johns Trophy games and was still very young when we released him, he did score the winning goal in one of the games he did play in though. Did well at Welling though the last 3 seasons since he left us.
