It's a great signing for us, he's got potential to be a top keeper and still only 22.

Stop coming out with shite about money................Some teams here have more loose change than your owners
What you pay Mullins is up to your owners and Mullins agent...............Your team up until today wont finish top half.................you need major improvements

Saturday night drink was it?

Mullin isn't on 25k a week, that was a joke because people have speculated about his wage with ludicrous claims since he signed.

Our money isn't from our owners personal wealth. Our revenue might surprise you though- we can compete with any team in this league financially.

As for major improvements. No shit sherlock, we were in Non league Two seasons ago and a lot of the team were playing at that level (although arguably at one or two levels below where they should be) . If the league started now we are probably mid table, luckily we have time to bring more quality in.

We were told last season that we'd struggle in League 2 but we somehow managed. The top half a dozen of League 1 are a level above but most of this legaue doesn't worry me too much.

I can’t remember the game I watched on sky but that keeper looked like he’d won a competition to play. He was awful.

I assume that was an off day for him though.

Perhaps you can nip back down to lge2 forum and ask Port Vale about this league. They also stated right up until Feb/March that this league was crap.
Nobody gives a iota about what players are on, good luck to them if they can get it.
Your recruitment will be done once the lower Championship, Birmingham, Huddersfield, Bolton have made their plans clear to agents.........Then you start recruiting, but unless you can move four or five out that rebuilding cannot start due to the number of over 21 players in your squad.
As for your money not coming from your owners personal wealth dont be so deluded. No club in this league bar perhaps Peterborough in recent years have not needed help from there owners.
The top half comment was with your squad as it stands and yes i expect you to recruit and improve.
I do not know who said you would struggle last year as league2 is a piss poor league and i fully expected you and Stockport to come up Mansfield have been knocking on the door for years, somebody was eventually going to answer sooner than later and Crawley is the biggest shock in recent years.

Been told that Ruel Sotiriou has left us - we will get a fee for him, no idea which club has signed him yet. There is a chance though he is moving abroad, which would mean we don't get a fee - although apparently this isn't 100% he will move abroad but there is a chance.

Apparently we've also signed 4 players.

We’re on the verge of signing Palace goal keeper Joe Whitworth on loan according to Alan Nixon.

Seems like he won their u21 player of the year last season and he’s also played a couple of games for the first team, so he sounds like a very good replacement for Sinisalo.

It’s just a shame that we’ll fall in love with yet another loan goal keeper and be back in the same situation next summer. Perhaps our academy ‘keeper Harry Lee will be ready to step up next season and we can fully invest in him.

We were reliant on our owners money for the first couple of seasons but as of last year our revenue reached levels where that isn't the case any longer.

We are funded in a completely unique way so you can't draw comparisons with other clubs and us. It's why we have a documentary, do US tours and are always doing cringey social media things.

You have a documentary because of who your owners are, the viewing audience will drop off the more you do it.
It may have paid its way the last two years, but it wont touch the surface if you get promotion into the Championship.
That funding is unique for a season or two only

Time will tell on how long the money lasts for or whether Stateside interest drops as soon as the documentary ends. The club do work hard on building our profile over there.

The owners have already said that at some point outside investment will be needed. They are now involved in the Alpine F1 group and have a minority stake in the group who own Club Nexaca in Mexico. I wouldn't be surprised if this shows the future investment model for Wrexham.

As of this March they were over £19million in debt. I can't think of many clubs who aren't more dependent on their owners.

I think the only club who post a profit and aren't owner dependent are Exeter.

I stand corrected, Exeter have dined out on the Watkins money for a while, even they will need propping up

Peterborough would have gone to the wall without their owners years ago.

Would Kevin Keegan love it if some Championship club has taken a whirl on him. Delicious, delicious money for a player whom I maintain is barely League Two quality.

Orient still got Darren Pratley playing yeah?

Yeah, he likes to come on and kick people for 10 minutes at the end of games. We only have two players 30 or over in the entire squad so you’re on to a loser here.

To be fair everyone else in our squad is 19-28, apart from Pratley, George Moncur (30) and Joe Piggott (31) who are literally exceptions!

The average age of out squad is something like 26. McClean (35) Fletcher (37) and Palmer (32) are the only over 30s players likely to feature next season (and Fletcher will be cameos) . We've also got Mark Howard, who is our third choice keeper and Anthony Forde (30) who may well be leaving. Other than that everyone else is in their 20s. I wouldn't say our squad is particularly old tbh.

Doesn't help when you have situations like Swansea 'buying' Josh Key and a year later we are still waiting for a tribunal to decide how much they have to give us.

Well Jones said we'd have the bulk of our signings done by the time we return for Preseason on the 27th June. So far three in whilst losing our captain Dobson and also sounding like we will lose the league's top scorer.

Apparently one of our signings is Charlie Kelman who we had on loan two seasons back.

I think we will need to have an incredible season to finish 6th. We were miles off it last season and could be losing our 3 best players. The squad did need an overhaul so will see come the end of the window what it's looking like.

Yeah that's my top 3 this season but with Jones in charge I think Charlton will finish top.

I saw Charlton at our place towards the end of the season and you can see how Jones was already moulding the team into a team very much like his team he had at Luton.

Luke Berry has come from the premier league to league one and with their business far from done I have them as my early fav's. Birmingham seem to have £20m to spend but as you know, having a top budget doesn't really count for anything if there is turmoil off the pitch or have a manager who isn't good enough.

Chris Davies looks a risky appointment, so with a winner in Jones I make them early favourites. My current top 6 is

Charlton
Birmingham

May is one of them I assume but the upturn in results under Jones didn't include May that much. Luke Berry is your new best player anyways.

Wigan, Charlton and Lincoln have zero chance of finishing above us, but its your opinion fair enough
