Few rumours I’ve been told today:-

Incoming are Jai Rowe from Boston and Harrison Biggins from Doncaster.

PNE and Bolton are interested in Jack Price.
Rumours we have two trialists at the club. Maybe you've had good info.

I'm sure he's a better player than Ryan Ledson as midfield backup, but it sounds like he'd be lucky to make 5 appearances.

Price would come to us surely in a B team capacity.....Would not get anywhere near the first team here never mind a championship club.........No from me

I know little about him but he seemed to be one of the better midfielders in the MLS before some bad injuries.

As I said previously, we like a no-risk freebie to make up squad numbers. Wouldn't shock me at all. 6 mo+6 mo contract maybe.

Ryan Lowe is best mates with a trio of ex Salop players (Sam Aiston, Dave Edwards, Gavin Cowan) who now do their own podcast which is similar to Undr The Cosh. Anyway, the ex Salop players are in constant contact with players at our club and are also really good friends with Jack Price. Ryan Lowe sometimes tags along on events these lads run as does Jack Price so I can imagine they’re also good friends.

The lad I get info off has told me that Jai Rowe is currently not looking as likely anymore as another team has come in last minute and that we’re signing Toby Savin from Accrington today. So I’ll see if he gets this one correct too.

Josh Magennis signs for us. Pretty happy with that. Yes, he’s not prolific but he’s got bags of experience and played lots of Championship and international football. Plus he scored 18 in L1 when Hull won on promotion not so long ago, so he can be a threat.

He’ll be a great experienced head alongside our young forwards so I’m right behind this signing.

Welcome Josh

Youngster Sonny Perkins signs on loan from Leeds for a season - the Irony is we sold him to Leeds 6 years ago when he was only 14 and now he's back with us on loan.

Can play as a striker or a attacking midfielder. Was at Oxford 2 seasons ago but didn't seem to play.

Will Crawley be able to field a team at this rate?

I'm getting resigned to losing our players.

Big, strong lad but better playing off a front man. Creates space and sometimes does something with it. Wasn't a starter at the beginning of the season and seemed to need lots of coaching from the sides.

Crowd favourite . I might go and spread this rumour just for the capital letter relies.

What's the worst points total in a season?

Casey

Good deal for a freebie after 30 games for us.

Stockport County.
Another one departing Crawley.

Corey Addai joining us. Seen him a few times, quite an unorthodox goalkeeper but clearly talented and his passing out from the back will suit our style. Hinchliffe will give his all to keep the gloves though.

Addai went from a complete liability to an OK league 2 keeper but with good distribution skills (mainly).

Joined as number 3 keeper but Glenn Morris decided he didn't want to be a back up and then Ellery Balcombe got a serious injury. Totally frustrating watching him watch the ball go in the net but decent coaching, needs must and his desire to make it work, made it work.

I'm 6'4 it could be my time!

Seems an okay signing, not been super impressed with him from the few times I’ve seen him. Would have preferred Bass.

We’ve agreed a fee with Gateshead for their midfielder, Ed Francis according to Pete O’Rourke, who’s usually very reliable.

Very left field but I like going for young talent in the non league. Seems like he impressed last season, so could be a good find.

Just checked and we are now at 13 signings so far for the season.
Let’s go on the law of averages that a quarter are decent. So that’s 3 good ones.
We have a fan forum next Tuesday with the new owners and manager- we usually have about 50 turn up for these events, but this one seems to have got some interest and we have shifted nearly 700 tickets.
See what their plans for us are and their planned changes for the stadium.

Crawley have made a signing. Josh Flint. 23 year old left footed centre back. Came through Pompey youth teams.

Played 28 times past season in Dutch top division for...fc Volendam...? Quich check. Relegated 2nd bottom. 88 goals conceded in 34 games...we've signed one of their defenders! Good grief!

Well, he can point to lots of practice last season. Never seen or heard of him. Will have to wait for a game.

We've signed second division players from Holland previously. Sold one to the pies for quite a bit of dosh as well.

Can’t put into words how I’m feeling right now, regardless of who else was to move on, Addai was the one player we had to keep to have a chance this season. Best keeper in league 2 last year and will most certainly be playing at a higher level in a few years.

This fire sale tactic for our one year back in league 1 has completely removed any excitement or anticipation for the season.
Yet again we are going to have to build from scratch when we had a very special group.

Fuming and completely gutted. I’ll be back soon once the rest of the squad have been sold.

Have faith man. We were always up against it this season anyway. Without faith we may as well throw in the towel.

Honestly, I was feeling pretty miserable that we still haven't signed a player, but Crawley's plight look's very desperate. Still, games are played by 11 players on the pitch, not how much money you have.

Anything on the Crawley side about Liam Kelly? The same account that got Addai and Lolos right has mentioned him coming back down to L2 to us and I don’t want to get my hopes up if it’s nonsense, as it should be considering how good he is

Was West Ham rather than Leeds we sold him to wasn't it? Also seems like he was at Oxford last season, but got recalled due to limited playing time.

I think negotiations were still ongoing but Wagmi have probably agreed on £5k + a couple of tootsie rolls

Casey CTFC - Devils Surely you guys now have some money you can now go and spend too? Granted you'll have to split it more towards wages, with L1 players wanting more money, but I'm sure you'll all be fine.

FWIW, I think you'll stay up.

Complete re-build, keeping hold of Lindsey will be key. Does not look like the new owners have got a clue.

It sounds like all the players Crawley have sold were complete shite 6-12 months ago. Maybe they know what they're doing...
